Effective immediately (June 3, 2022), customers registering for their ATF eForm 4 as “Individual” can certify their eForm 4 applications remotely! Certifying and submitted remotely for Individuals is identical to the process for customers whom registered as a Trust or Corporation. ATF is planning to update the online instructions soon, and have confirmed that the current ‘in-person’ instruction is being removed. It took 3 weeks for silencer shop to get my recce5 to my dealer, then a week for my dealer to let me know. After driving to the dealer to fill out more online forms, I'm 30 days beyond the vaunted 90 day grail. I'll believe it when I see it.
It’s 90 days after the atf cash your check or silencer shop applies your tax stamp. That’s when the 90 window starts. My ticker started yesterday when I received the email saying the tax stamp was applied to my serial number.

Certified with my dealer a couple weeks ago, took all of 5 minutes-spent more time BS’ing with them than actually entering info. Purchase was from late December and was ready to certify within a few weeks all in the middle of the roll out of Eforms, SilencerShop’s new processes and procedures, etc.-overall decent so far all things considered. I’m willing to bet the first wave of us in eforms wont see 90 day approvals from the ATF, but has to be better than current paper forms timelines.
What do you mean “you are ready to certify”? Are you just prepared to do so having registered on ATF eforms or is your status on SilencerShop’s site tell you that your status is ‘ready to certify’? Have you reached out to your dealer to ask them if you can certify? Maybe the dealer isn’t aware because they lost their notification or don’t know how to proceed? Maybe their one guy that does it is on vacation somewhere sunny? Either way, sitting and waiting only works when other people do their part-politely call and ask, see if you can advance the situation for yourself.
@@balrog006 thanks for the motivation. I’ve called my dealer twice telling them I’m ready to certify and I have my ATF PIN number. Both times. I was told “this is on our end”. And “there’s nothing for you to do”. So. That’s what I mean. My application status says “ready to certify since 1/17/22” and nothing has been done. I’ve called twice.
As of 5/17/2023 after talking to four different shops in western Washington, three of which got, and use, these kiosks the wait time is a tad OVER 11 months..! So much for fast processing.
According to our ATF wait time tracker, which calculates waits based on the previous 7 days of approvals, eForms are taking 6-9 months, paper is 12+ currently. WE also post approvals every week to show current processing times. - Chase

There’s no consistency. I applied for my first two months ago. It was approved and done a week later and I now have bought 4 more suppressors. My buddy who applied 7 months who actually showed me how to do it, is still currently waiting. It’s pathetic how there is no quality control.
It was a scam to raise a bunch of quick money bc people who don’t want to wait for 1 year . I fell into that category. 10/24/22 was when I got my email 4 form completed. About 45-60 days after I purchased everything and did the kiosk

I can say I am 1000% disappointed in my transaction with you (silencer shop and my dealer). I called my local ATF agent for a little help-perhaps a form 3-but don’t expect much there.
The comments section is full ofpeople complaining about silencer shop and how long its taking. Something to consider...The more streamlined the process, the more people that are going to apply. I'll be honest. This process has been a huge pain, at least with my dealer. 3 times the 'system has been down'. The first submission failed due to 'no finger prints'? A recent try had the system experience an issue where they requested calling me back. I work during the day making it difficult to spend 1/2hr on the phone being in meetings frequently. At this point I'd just prefer to wait 9 months as the slow way has never failed for me. Best case for me it'll take 7 months.
I just got done waiting for 13 months for my can. I have doubts about this only taking 90 days but if it can cut it down to 6 months I'll be a believer

Got a couple paper submissions back recently one took a year, and the other took 6 months. On the eForm submission I got 3 and so far only the first one has went smoothly. The other 2 have been frustrating after waiting for my FFL to process one can for a month so I can even start the process, and now with the certification process… Been to my FFL multiple times to certify, and it doesn’t seem to be working.

@@SilencerShop honestly the atf needs to quit prioritizing batch approvals and just work thru them month by month and I’d already have my can from last year by now. I’m less than 30 days from the 1 year mark. But because they keep jumping around and doing batch approvals i won’t get mine until I’m a year and half to 2 years in.
Start to finish my eform took 1.5 months before all paperwork was done. Bought the first week of Jan and just finished this week. Not exactly fast when there were constant site crashes, email updates taking weeks, etc. Hope things become more stream lined and something needs to be done about the certification process.

Mine certified April 12, still waiting. This was two suppressor purchases, my first and last. No more purchases until suppressors are REMOVED from the NFA. Manufacturers and retailers need to take the lead in getting cans unrestricted. It's hearing protection FCS.

Gotta say, my experience has been far from fast or easy. Made a purchase a month ago and still can't get y'all to even submit the forms. I was told by your staff to go to my local gun store and have them file the paperwork, and apparently they can't do anything until you guys prep the forms. I would say, based off of my experience, use someone else. These guys are a nightmare. Their customer service sucks. It takes days to get a response, and even then, they don't respond to the issue at hand. Whoever "Mike" is in their support is an absolute disaster. He as no desire to resolve issues whatsoever and has no business in customer support. Now that I'm a month in and can't do anything, they want to charge me 35% to cancel an order because they can't seem to do their job. Much like the ATF, they're quick to take your money, but slow to do anything else.
These videos are more marketing hype than tutorial. PLEASE do a video that clearly walks through the steps the customer must take from beginning to end. Stop with the flashy social media graphics and marketing hype. There are still some points of confusion on your website, in your emails, and with the process. Example: my account is set with e-forms as my preference, but my order details say "Registration: Traditional". What does this mean? Example: This video clearly says if you're registered as an individual, you won't get a DocuSign. Well, I got a Docusign. And I'm not a trust. PLEASE make a CLEAR tutorial.

First of 3 E-filed suppressors took 117 days. Certified on Jan 31st, received on May 27th. Based on this, I should receive my second one on July 12th...we'll see.
I'm at 3/03 and 4/01 pending on my two cans.. based on what I'm seeing I fully expect to see at least 170 day wait times being that they are creeping up to 150-160 now.. So much for 90 day approvals. Then again it is the government, and the atf at that. Not surprised at the failure to deliver.

So I have been stuck in "Ready to Certify" with no ready-to-certify email since December. Let's say dealers were not ready till mid-January; ok, that's still a month for them to prepare a forum 4 (5-minute task). Am I still on a 90-day track? Or did we just add 1-2 months? Putting me at 120-150 days which isn't much different from filing as paper; at least with paper, there is no need to set up a time with a dealer or have that extra step and reliance on a dealer to certify. This is a bust for me so far; id instead go paper and have my guarantee. Especially since it does not look any faster right now due to the incompetence of dealers and the reliance on them.

I called Silencer shop about becoming a dealer and getting Silencer Shoo Kiosk. They told me the kiosk was$5800. To be honest I would have to move a lot of suppressors to recover the cost. I called several dealer with kiosks and they each stated they got their kiosks for free. I need to dig deeper to see what is going on here but $5800 sounds a little steep on the cost.
General thoughts on the ATFs “disclaimer” about being able to use any and all information you submit at anytime without any needing your permission. Also goes on to say that once you accept the “disclaimer” it’s final, no take backs lol. Anyone else a bit nervous about “accepting” the terms when creating an account? I’m thinking I’d rather wait the 12-14 months…
My efile app processed in 254 days and the stamp came back with the wrong county....so who knows what this'll take to get fixed. Always a disappointment when dealing with government

If agriculture wasnt regulated, corners will be cut along with costs and now youre eating pesticides and everyone is getting sick and dying. We do need a standard on how our children are educated but the issue is all these departments you mentioned have become corrupt. That doesnt mean we should get rid of them. The ATF should be one aswell. Instead of finding guns coming in through ports going to all the gangs in Chicago - theyre going after you. A guy who has a pistol brace on his AR who legally owns that firearm. Thats corruption to the max. These departments and agencies are being used by the federal government to achieve a goal and not what they were intended to do in the first place

Good question, I was wondering this as well. Although I will have to go in for my next 2 cans, as they're coming straight from a small manufacturer, so I will still be using the SS eCertify and Kiosk system and a Single Shot Trust, just not purchasing from their site this time. I love how simple the Kiosk process made it for my first 5 cans. It was stupid simple. Highly recommend SS to all my buddies, and so far 2 or 3 have also gone down the NFA route, since they were nervous about it before. But after seeing how simple it was with mine, they finally bought, as well. Now with the eForms, it's even faster. 👍🏼

My can was received by my FFL at the end of January, and it took them a month to tell me it was in. Then they had an issue with attaching the serial number to my SS account, and now I’m not sure if the certification worked… As I got the email from the ATF, but SS dashboard is showing ready to certify.

Eforms might approve it in 90 days… take 2-4 months on top of that for Silencer Shop to get to your online purchase and forward it to your local dealer

The part where some person sits and just sloggs though a pile of paperwork before your wait begins has now just moved from ATF to silencer shop. So just sits there for a couple of months before they open your efile with the ATF and then you wait for several more months. How is that faster ? My order has been sitting in preparing for efile for 7 weeks since I completed everything with my dealer. 90 days is not the wait time. 90 days is how long its currently taking SS to file your eform. Hire some temps.

Took a month from the time I did my info on the kiosk till that was approved by Silencershop before I could do my Eform so make that 120 days at least. Still did make it a lot simpler than the paper form 4 that’s for sure.

I’m more confused now than before I watched this. I created and notarized my trust, ordered my suppressor and tax stamp from silencer shop, and then went in and got everyone on the trust done at the kiosk with photos and fingerprints. I’m not sure what the next step is, because my silencer shop account says I’m 100% complete. I’m guessing I need to go in and do the ATF E form account info then wait on the shop to call me back. The shop was not AT ALL helpful and gave conflicting info, which made them sound pretty unsure of the process. Any wisdom would be appreciated

I don’t get it. Everyone I’ve talked to said the paper form backlog will be cleared first before any eforms will be approved. My paper form with the check cashed back in May 2021 is looking like an August 2022 approval at the earliest, so 90 days seems like really sneaky marketing at best and maybe outright deception at worst.
I’ve heard this and they said to turn the phone sideways and certify with signature that way. It won’t work in the vertical orientation for some reason.

After you do the Docusign (note if you file as an Individual, you won't get a Docusign, but if you filed in any other way, you will), you don't need to take any further action until you're Ready to Certify. To the point about "how long does it usually take" the dealer also has to take action with your application for Ready to Certify email to go out. After the Silencer Shop Compliance Team checks your information (the Silencer Shop accuracy rate is 99.5% and industry average is 60%) the dealer also actions the application and then the Ready to Certify email will be sent to you. Because each dealer is independently owned and operated, we can't predict how long it'll take for their step. Appreciate you connecting.

Let's see if it actually is the fastest way. 31 days in (after a 40 day wait for it to get started on eforms and FFL figuring it out from November). I never got a ready to certify email, had to do it in person even though I'm on a trust. Hope I have my can by April.
More like 3 months until you can even get it certified and then some of the gun store you choose doesn’t know what they’re doing. It’s going to take just as long as before.

As a dealer, maybe I just have bad luck but I’ve had nothing but bad luck with FullAuto. Luckily it’s the most accurate and best system around but the amount of hassle my store has gone through is very annoying. Also calling BS on 1-2minutes certification. Maybe it’s just me but still a lot of kinks, with a very bogged down CS team
Thank you. More dealers should come on here and share real world experiences. I used a trust, purchased with Silencershop 1/10/22, tried to certify remotely 2/10-11/22, failed two days in a row. Then scheduled and went to the dealer, and on the time/day of my appt they couldnt get it to work. TTL BS!
Wondering how long the "preparing for Eforms" stage of the order is supposed to last. I believe it's been over 2 weeks since our order has been sitting on that status. It's been almost a month since we paid for it, and it has not yet been submitted to the ATF to start that unreasonable multi-month wait.
January 26th is when I went to my FFL and completed the eform on my R9. Lets see if I get mine before my friend who got 2 back in early December on the old school paper way.
Seems steps were left out of this video. Should let everyone know it will take weeks if not months just to get to the submit process and you will not get your rebate until this happens. Was going to use it for another silencer but now I am not. Between crashes and process freezing up and having to spend hours waiting for SS support it’s been a rough ride. No idea at what point mine is in as the “Time Line” only gives some info. Great start but needs a lot of improvements.

For your application to be at the "Ready to Certify" and then submission stage, you/all responsible parties on your application must have completed the signature/profile information on your Silencer Shop account. Also, the dealer must also accept the application, and after the Silencer Shop Compliance review (you're tapping into our accuracy rate of 99.5%, the industry average accuracy rate is 60%). Then, you'll receive the "Ready to Certify" email from Silencer Shop. Can the fingerprint files be attached to other ATF eforms (form 1, since we're probably going to get bad news about braces)? Or, are plans in the works to let the kiosks file other eforms? Thanks
I'm pretty sure they can, since he was taking about SBR's, which mostly will end up being Form-1 items, since there's TONS of braces out there. If that happens, I'll be doing a few of mine. #LetsGoBrandon #FJB
If you have used the kiosk before for fingerprints you can buy copies from silencershop to be mailed to you. The ATF still requires printed finger prints with eform 1's. My eform 1 took 16 days to get my approval.
You can order printed fingerprint cards from silencershop right now (that contain your digital prints from the kiosk), that are 100% complete. Then you file your form 1 on eforms and you get an immediate email from the ATF with a cover letter and submitted copy of your form 1. Then you mail 2 things: your prints and the cover to the ATF address on the cover letter, and the CLEO copy of the form 1 to your CLEO. It's actually super simple. I got my first approved form 1 for an SBR a week ago just like this. 29 Days from when I clicked submit, to receiving my stamp.

Effective immediately (June 3, 2022), customers registering for their ATF eForm 4 as “Individual” can certify their eForm 4 applications remotely! Certifying and submitted remotely for Individuals is identical to the process for customers whom registered as a Trust or Corporation.
ATF is planning to update the online instructions soon, and have confirmed that the current ‘in-person’ instruction is being removed.

The dude told me running time right now is around 5 months. But its at my local range so i go shoot it whenever i want while i wait.
Yes people, do an Eform. They weren't available when I bought mine and I'm going on 15 months!!!! I just tried to call them, but they're on the east coast and were closed. This is crazy. Bought from Silencer Shop.

It took 3 weeks for silencer shop to get my recce5 to my dealer, then a week for my dealer to let me know. After driving to the dealer to fill out more online forms, I'm 30 days beyond the vaunted 90 day grail. I'll believe it when I see it.
It’s 90 days after the atf cash your check or silencer shop applies your tax stamp. That’s when the 90 window starts. My ticker started yesterday when I received the email saying the tax stamp was applied to my serial number.
Eform4 hasn’t even been live for 90 days let alone the 120 that you are claiming….if you’re at 120 days, you 100% did NOT file eform…so cool story.

Certified with my dealer a couple weeks ago, took all of 5 minutes-spent more time BS’ing with them than actually entering info. Purchase was from late December and was ready to certify within a few weeks all in the middle of the roll out of Eforms, SilencerShop’s new processes and procedures, etc.-overall decent so far all things considered. I’m willing to bet the first wave of us in eforms wont see 90 day approvals from the ATF, but has to be better than current paper forms timelines.

What do you mean “you are ready to certify”? Are you just prepared to do so having registered on ATF eforms or is your status on SilencerShop’s site tell you that your status is ‘ready to certify’? Have you reached out to your dealer to ask them if you can certify? Maybe the dealer isn’t aware because they lost their notification or don’t know how to proceed? Maybe their one guy that does it is on vacation somewhere sunny?
Either way, sitting and waiting only works when other people do their part-politely call and ask, see if you can advance the situation for yourself.

And “there’s nothing for you to do”. So. That’s what I mean. My application status says “ready to certify since 1/17/22” and nothing has been done. I’ve called twice.

As of 5/17/2023 after talking to four different shops in western Washington, three of which got, and use, these kiosks the wait time is a tad OVER 11 months..! So much for fast processing.
According to our ATF wait time tracker, which calculates waits based on the previous 7 days of approvals, eForms are taking 6-9 months, paper is 12+ currently. WE also post approvals every week to show current processing times. - Chase

There’s no consistency. I applied for my first two months ago. It was approved and done a week later and I now have bought 4 more suppressors.
My buddy who applied 7 months who actually showed me how to do it, is still currently waiting. It’s pathetic how there is no quality control.
It was a scam to raise a bunch of quick money bc people who don’t want to wait for 1 year . I fell into that category. 10/24/22 was when I got my email 4 form completed. About 45-60 days after I purchased everything and did the kiosk

I can say I am 1000% disappointed in my transaction with you (silencer shop and my dealer). I called my local ATF agent for a little help-perhaps a form 3-but don’t expect much there.

I'll be honest. This process has been a huge pain, at least with my dealer. 3 times the 'system has been down'. The first submission failed due to 'no finger prints'? A recent try had the system experience an issue where they requested calling me back. I work during the day making it difficult to spend 1/2hr on the phone being in meetings frequently. At this point I'd just prefer to wait 9 months as the slow way has never failed for me. Best case for me it'll take 7 months.

Got a couple paper submissions back recently one took a year, and the other took 6 months. On the eForm submission I got 3 and so far only the first one has went smoothly. The other 2 have been frustrating after waiting for my FFL to process one can for a month so I can even start the process, and now with the certification process… Been to my FFL multiple times to certify, and it doesn’t seem to be working.

I’m less than 30 days from the 1 year mark. But because they keep jumping around and doing batch approvals i won’t get mine until I’m a year and half to 2 years in.

Gotta say, my experience has been far from fast or easy. Made a purchase a month ago and still can't get y'all to even submit the forms. I was told by your staff to go to my local gun store and have them file the paperwork, and apparently they can't do anything until you guys prep the forms. I would say, based off of my experience, use someone else. These guys are a nightmare. Their customer service sucks. It takes days to get a response, and even then, they don't respond to the issue at hand. Whoever "Mike" is in their support is an absolute disaster. He as no desire to resolve issues whatsoever and has no business in customer support. Now that I'm a month in and can't do anything, they want to charge me 35% to cancel an order because they can't seem to do their job. Much like the ATF, they're quick to take your money, but slow to do anything else.

Example: my account is set with e-forms as my preference, but my order details say "Registration: Traditional". What does this mean?
Example: This video clearly says if you're registered as an individual, you won't get a DocuSign. Well, I got a Docusign. And I'm not a trust.

First of 3 E-filed suppressors took 117 days. Certified on Jan 31st, received on May 27th. Based on this, I should receive my second one on July 12th...we'll see.
I'm at 3/03 and 4/01 pending on my two cans.. based on what I'm seeing I fully expect to see at least 170 day wait times being that they are creeping up to 150-160 now.. So much for 90 day approvals. Then again it is the government, and the atf at that. Not surprised at the failure to deliver.

So I have been stuck in "Ready to Certify" with no ready-to-certify email since December. Let's say dealers were not ready till mid-January; ok, that's still a month for them to prepare a forum 4 (5-minute task). Am I still on a 90-day track? Or did we just add 1-2 months? Putting me at 120-150 days which isn't much different from filing as paper; at least with paper, there is no need to set up a time with a dealer or have that extra step and reliance on a dealer to certify.
This is a bust for me so far; id instead go paper and have my guarantee. Especially since it does not look any faster right now due to the incompetence of dealers and the reliance on them.

I called Silencer shop about becoming a dealer and getting Silencer Shoo Kiosk. They told me the kiosk was$5800. To be honest I would have to move a lot of suppressors to recover the cost. I called several dealer with kiosks and they each stated they got their kiosks for free. I need to dig deeper to see what is going on here but $5800 sounds a little steep on the cost.
General thoughts on the ATFs “disclaimer” about being able to use any and all information you submit at anytime without any needing your permission. Also goes on to say that once you accept the “disclaimer” it’s final, no take backs lol. Anyone else a bit nervous about “accepting” the terms when creating an account? I’m thinking I’d rather wait the 12-14 months…

My efile app processed in 254 days and the stamp came back with the wrong county....so who knows what this'll take to get fixed. Always a disappointment when dealing with government

If agriculture wasnt regulated, corners will be cut along with costs and now youre eating pesticides and everyone is getting sick and dying. We do need a standard on how our children are educated but the issue is all these departments you mentioned have become corrupt. That doesnt mean we should get rid of them. The ATF should be one aswell. Instead of finding guns coming in through ports going to all the gangs in Chicago - theyre going after you. A guy who has a pistol brace on his AR who legally owns that firearm. Thats corruption to the max. These departments and agencies are being used by the federal government to achieve a goal and not what they were intended to do in the first place

Although I will have to go in for my next 2 cans, as they're coming straight from a small manufacturer, so I will still be using the SS eCertify and Kiosk system and a Single Shot Trust, just not purchasing from their site this time. I love how simple the Kiosk process made it for my first 5 cans. It was stupid simple. Highly recommend SS to all my buddies, and so far 2 or 3 have also gone down the NFA route, since they were nervous about it before. But after seeing how simple it was with mine, they finally bought, as well. Now with the eForms, it's even faster. 👍🏼

I'm coming up on 4 months soon with ZERO action other than my LGS is holding my can and has no idea what they are doing with it. I have called you guys twice now to call them and walk them through the process. That first call was 3 weeks ago, and still no "ready to certify" email. I will bug you guys here and on IG until my shit gets resolved.

I realized after waiting a week that even though my registration information tab said complete when I clicked on it, it was not. I had to update my phone number. Did that and got a ready to certify email shortly after.

My can was received by my FFL at the end of January, and it took them a month to tell me it was in. Then they had an issue with attaching the serial number to my SS account, and now I’m not sure if the certification worked… As I got the email from the ATF, but SS dashboard is showing ready to certify.

Eforms might approve it in 90 days… take 2-4 months on top of that for Silencer Shop to get to your online purchase and forward it to your local dealer

When your item is being sent to the dealer it's called a Form 3 (which is reviewed by the ATF) and when the dealer receives it, they'll action your application and you'll receive an email with the subject Ready To Certify. The part where some person sits and just sloggs though a pile of paperwork before your wait begins has now just moved from ATF to silencer shop. So just sits there for a couple of months before they open your efile with the ATF and then you wait for several more months. How is that faster ? My order has been sitting in preparing for efile for 7 weeks since I completed everything with my dealer. 90 days is not the wait time. 90 days is how long its currently taking SS to file your eform. Hire some temps.

Took a month from the time I did my info on the kiosk till that was approved by Silencershop before I could do my Eform so make that 120 days at least. Still did make it a lot simpler than the paper form 4 that’s for sure.

I’m more confused now than before I watched this. I created and notarized my trust, ordered my suppressor and tax stamp from silencer shop, and then went in and got everyone on the trust done at the kiosk with photos and fingerprints. I’m not sure what the next step is, because my silencer shop account says I’m 100% complete.
I’m guessing I need to go in and do the ATF E form account info then wait on the shop to call me back. The shop was not AT ALL helpful and gave conflicting info, which made them sound pretty unsure of the process.
Any wisdom would be appreciated

I don’t get it. Everyone I’ve talked to said the paper form backlog will be cleared first before any eforms will be approved. My paper form with the check cashed back in May 2021 is looking like an August 2022 approval at the earliest, so 90 days seems like really sneaky marketing at best and maybe outright deception at worst.

Great company! Unfortunately it took ATF 290 days to approve eForm 4. Called them repeatedly and agents said this was standard delay.

I’ve heard this and they said to turn the phone sideways and certify with signature that way. It won’t work in the vertical orientation for some reason.

After you do the Docusign (note if you file as an Individual, you won't get a Docusign, but if you filed in any other way, you will), you don't need to take any further action until you're Ready to Certify. To the point about "how long does it usually take" the dealer also has to take action with your application for Ready to Certify email to go out. After the Silencer Shop Compliance Team checks your information (the Silencer Shop accuracy rate is 99.5% and industry average is 60%) the dealer also actions the application and then the Ready to Certify email will be sent to you. Because each dealer is independently owned and operated, we can't predict how long it'll take for their step. Appreciate you connecting.
@@SilencerShop SS needs to set standards and expectations for their dealers. They should be told they have X amount of days to complete their steps or they are kicked out of the SS dealer network. Weed out the slackers and push the business to those who earn it. Simple solution if you ask me.

Approval times are no where near what they say they are. Three of my form 1’s took 140ish days and form 4’s seem to take a year plus.

Let's see if it actually is the fastest way. 31 days in (after a 40 day wait for it to get started on eforms and FFL figuring it out from November). I never got a ready to certify email, had to do it in person even though I'm on a trust. Hope I have my can by April.

As a dealer, maybe I just have bad luck but I’ve had nothing but bad luck with FullAuto.
Luckily it’s the most accurate and best system around but the amount of hassle my store has gone through is very annoying.
Also calling BS on 1-2minutes certification.

Then scheduled and went to the dealer, and on the time/day of my appt they couldnt get it to work. TTL BS!

Wondering how long the "preparing for Eforms" stage of the order is supposed to last. I believe it's been over 2 weeks since our order has been sitting on that status. It's been almost a month since we paid for it, and it has not yet been submitted to the ATF to start that unreasonable multi-month wait.

Seems steps were left out of this video. Should let everyone know it will take weeks if not months just to get to the submit process and you will not get your rebate until this happens. Was going to use it for another silencer but now I am not. Between crashes and process freezing up and having to spend hours waiting for SS support it’s been a rough ride. No idea at what point mine is in as the “Time Line” only gives some info. Great start but needs a lot of improvements.

For your application to be at the "Ready to Certify" and then submission stage, you/all responsible parties on your application must have completed the signature/profile information on your Silencer Shop account. Also, the dealer must also accept the application, and after the Silencer Shop Compliance review (you're tapping into our accuracy rate of 99.5%, the industry average accuracy rate is 60%). Then, you'll receive the "Ready to Certify" email from Silencer Shop. If you have used the kiosk before for fingerprints you can buy copies from silencershop to be mailed to you. The ATF still requires printed finger prints with eform 1's. My eform 1 took 16 days to get my approval.
You can order printed fingerprint cards from silencershop right now (that contain your digital prints from the kiosk), that are 100% complete. Then you file your form 1 on eforms and you get an immediate email from the ATF with a cover letter and submitted copy of your form 1. Then you mail 2 things: your prints and the cover to the ATF address on the cover letter, and the CLEO copy of the form 1 to your CLEO. It's actually super simple. I got my first approved form 1 for an SBR a week ago just like this. 29 Days from when I clicked submit, to receiving my stamp.
