Hi Lexi, how would you compare this D&G blush formula vs. the Guerlain terracotta blush formula? Which one is better? And for the color D&G #4 cheerful pink vs. Guerlain terracotta blush #01 light pink, which one is cooler and prettier?
I like the D&G better because it is a bit more velvety while the Guerlain is more firm. They are both good so it's personal preference; however, the Terracotta scent in the Guerlain is a bit too strong for me so that is a con in my book. I'll have to take a look at the shades up close but I think the Guerlain might be a touch warmer and it is definitely less pigmented so it's easier to get a sheer wash of color.
I’ve been looking forward to your reviews on D&G. I can see you were not big on skin tint, more into LE. Doesn’t seem to a consensus between the two, either people love LE and nor D&G or vice versa. You’re the first person to give the fig perfector a good review as most said so hard in the pan, makeup getting stuck on it. I agree with you, I want a cooler bronzer but I would fall into shade 2 or 3 but still look warm. The blush colors are beautiful. Maybe the only possible product to consider. Wish they did quad eyeshadows for this release. I really like their packaging.

I'm surprised most reviews do not mention the menthol in this skin tint - it did bother me, after 1h wear especially around the nose, so i washed it off. Only then did i detect the ingredient that cools even stronger than menthol. Maybe fun when it's hot, but for sensitive skin disappointing, especially since D&G is my favourite for foundation (fragrance free!).
Really enjoyed this video Lexi - the Fig powder looked a very nice consistency but quite white so that would concern me but it looks lovely on you. And now you've said the Lisa Eldridge skin tint is better I must look your review for that! Bronzers seem to lean so warm/orange - very frustrating so the Chantecaille Goa remains my go-to however I'd love to try that Gucci one at some point. The D&G purple liquid eye liner looks really nice but doesn't seem to be available in the UK I had been hoping this would be a more affordable alternative to the Surratt autographique which is very nice but pricy and the refills don't always work very well I've found. Great video!

My D & G order from Saks comes today. I passed on the primer, tint, and powder (they got very mixed reviews). I think I picked up the bronzer in the second shade, hoping it would be a little less orange. I haven’t bit the bullet on the Armani. If I got one, it would be the darkest, which looks like it has a red undertone, and use a light hand. I picked up three blushes too. Blissful Mauve arrived earlier and I really do like it! The other thing I picked up was the highlighter!
Hi Lexi everything looks beautiful on you 🙌 I saw a few reviews, that roasted skin tint and powder , as really bad products. Powder that brushes would not pick up and skin tint that is very patchy. Anyways , I don’t think that any of these are unique, so it’s a pass for me. Have a blessed day🙏❤️
Lexi, the bronzers & blushes look really pigmented. It’s too bad the lip oil is strong & drying because it’s a pretty shade. I have their old collection and the bronzer, blush & liquid lip were pigmented as well. The only thing they didn’t do is the eyeshadow quads but they were not that pigmented In the old collection. I wonder if they will come out with the quads later. Thank you for the review & demo. I definitely like the bronzers & blushes. 😊🌺

I’ve been loving the Dolce&Gabbana liquid lipsticks as well and I don’t even like matte lipsticks so that says a lot. I really like the highlighter and even though they look very matte to me I’ll try one of the blushes and I was thinking the liquid eyeliner also as it seems pretty easy to use. Would you say it’s easy for a beginner? My eye shape is pretty close to yours and using liquid or gel eyeliner is a no go for me because I have too many folds right at the end of my eye to get the wings even lol but this one looks sturdy so it might be easier to use. Also, I love how you show the application with several different brushes, it’s really helpful! Again, thank you for your hard work!

I have shopped D&G makeup from Europe before and the packaging was very pretty and they had more products. I have very pretty Mediterranean inspired highlighters, blushers, bronzers etc I also have eyeshadow sticks and their limited edition glosses were the prettiest I have ever used. I wonder why they don't have those here in the US market. When they existed at Ulta, years ago, their makeup was not as popular. Then they disappeared and now they are back but not with what I had hoped for. Thank you for all the swatches, nothing in particular excites me from what's listed on Sak's website at the moment. I am hoping they bring out more soon. I want to wait and see if they bring out something nice for the holidays this year. At least I am hoping they do.

It still saddens me that you and so many others received the es palette with the shattered shade(s). It's like whoever got one that wasn't broken won the lottery, lol. At least the company refunded you quickly and there wasn't the struggle of life like when issues have occurred with broken/incorrect Dior products for others. I was waiting patiently for your review ❤! Especially in the tint and the blushes. I got the eye palette and I think it is a great palette to play with colors. The quality of the shadows are great imo. The shattering of eye shadow can happen everywhere. To me it happened with Byredo which was annoying too. Why is it that you prefer the LE Skintint over the DG?
Oh I completely agree about eyeshadow breakage in general but with this particular palette, it just keeps happening with the same shade over several batches. I'm glad yours wasn't broken.

Did u see the new Clairons bronzer with the stars it's so pretty doesn't look as warm as all these bronzers releases has been but idk if it will be dark enough for me the dark part looks like a good color but it's smaller it has like 3 depths and the glow stars. It's available at Harrods that is the only place I've seen it so far but it's really pretty o they also added coconut oil to it which is weird. I finally got my LE tint and I'm loving it so much I been using it everyday sense I got it . I was thinking about the DG but I have seen so many bad reviews saying it was streaky and drying I figured why bother also people hating on the fig powder alot . I didn't place my DG order because I couldn't figure out a good skin tint shade and I'm kinda glad I didn't because the LE is perfection and I did end up getting a really good shade match in T10 could be a little bit deeper tint bit warmer but it's not bad. Sophia Sees Beauty Gave it an awful review and said it wasn't for dry skin and girl I have the dry skin and it works great so I'm wondering if she is using way to much product or something because It works great on me it's not patchy doesn't cling to areas or anything just looks like skin and super comfy so glad I bought it . I like it better then the U beauty I think they are similar but the U beauty may be more moisturizing feeling to it where the LE u don't feel at all , I think better for winter kinda wish the LE came out a week earlier and I would have saved the 110$ on the U beauty..LoL

The Guerlain is lighter and a touch warmer. There is a bit more yellow in the undertone but the two shades are similar.
The packaging is kinda similar to Tom Ford.

It's more of a very sheer/light foundation than a moisturizer imo.

The European offerings are definitely better. Their packaging is so pretty! I hope they decide to bring some of that here in the future.

Yes so far the D&G customer service has been great! It's a shame the palette has been broken for most people though.
It’s nice that DG changes the packaging colors per formulas. Take note all you other luxury brands!
