Ap dhillon is not a great singer his songs sound good because of production and sound track there are many singers who are better than AP Dhillon but arent famous because they haven't cracked the algorithm of famous songs there is a pattern for any famous song .. AP dhillon without music sounds like shit .. Shubh is better than him in singing and beats

Songs are the part of story telling. Most of the times characters are actually talking to each other through songs or it’s just a transition. Songs have always been an essential part of Indian Cinema. It may look weird when you watch these songs randomly but actually are not. Also songs have provided a huge business in the industry. Even if the movie does not do well, songs saves the day.

Well indian movies have songs cause they tell story, portrait emotions they contribute in movie and let's be honest we indians love music, dance so 🤧 and hence sometimes singers show up in music video sometimes not and many aren't even interested to feature in music videos
