@@jeanv1352 Then you'll deserve the same shit when it happens to you. Karma.
If the guy who is faithful, ethical and hardworking is annoying to you, you deserve a player like Sam. Obviously, the cheater doesn't think the good man he has is boring or he wouldn't try so desperately to get him back. The cheater is narcissistic, extremely selfish and immature. He deserved what he got ... kicked to the curb.

What's funny is that my straight friends got married and after 7 years, the majority are divorced and the reasons are irreconcilable differences and cheating.

A line that I wish had been included in the last scene, after the cheating partner was apologizing, & trying to repair the relationship he broke, would be Jordan saying, “If you hadn’t gotten caught, would you be trying to fix what’s been off with our relationship, or would you still be hooking up with Sam?” I think we all know the answer. Only sorry because he got caught. He wasn’t going to break it off with Sam. And, even if at some point he did, he wasn’t ever going to come clean to Jordan with it. Only sorry & wanting to fix things because he got caught.

Excellent portrait of what happens when there is betrayal in a relationship. Once you've caught the guy you love in bed with someone else, it's over. There is no coming back from that. And even if you try, it is never the same because trust is gone.

Adultery does not "just happen". Loneliness does not justify adultery. I am over 70 and my lover/husband (he is old, too) has been overseas for 8 months, and neither of us cheats but calls one another daily. Adultery has consequences. Among the least consequence is the partner cheated on will never be able to trust the cheater. The cheating partner/lover will think he or she can get away with other times and the relationship will ultimately end. It is true to life, the same as monogamy in gay relationships is ebbing away for many but not for my husband and I. It would be good to see a strong relationship in a movie once, not all the garbage of "just happened" weak people. My husband and I have been married for twenty years, and again when marriage became legal. We went together 5 years before we married. Adultery never "just happens." "Loneliness" is no excuse.

Also, not all cheating is the same. Going out and seeking an affair is different than getting drunk at a party and something happening.

Really fine work. I've viewed this movie a dozen times, wondering why it is so satisfying. Writing, directing, acting, photography, all excellent. The two lead actors do very good work with facial expression. I'm thinking it's the authenticity of Jordan's expression of pain. The little nuances he puts into it. Those expressions and gestures are convincing, so that when he says, "No, I loved you," you know it was the real thing.

The only one that I feel for is the one that was cheated on. I understand that the other guy got lonely, but that's no excuse. He's just a selfish cheater. Let's be realistic - there are wives and partners who husbands are called away to war, but who would never cheat because they have a love that's true. Yes some would but the ones who truly love never would. This guy did not truly love his partner, so it was good that he found him out early. Good reddens as far as I'm concerned...

Regardless of one's sexuality, it's impossible to love someone and cheat on them. Cheating is completely selfish and those who believe "it just happened " are lying to themselves and to you.
It didn't mean anything is a joke because it meant enough for the cheater to risk everything they already had.
Cheaters are never worth keeping unless you want to repeatedly have your heart broken.
Sever the tie and find someone who respects you. I'm glad he did walk away. Once it's tarnished the trust is gone so there's no going back.

~ Another reason, to love a great short film. A kind word, of thank you Peter. Well done!.
Sadly, temptation is a test many people often fail, by simply giving themselves a choice.
For some, the wrong one is likely the one they've chosen , while others will yield before it.
Although, not every choice or decision warrants thought. However, actions, can lead to consequences.SUBSCRIBED!. ;-)

It’s Miah Time Cheating is different from lying. All I wanna say is sometimes they lie for you. Like when they feel sick or like when they feel bad, they say I’m fine and they don’t want you to worry about them. Or maybe when you’re going on a date with him/her. And the date is pretty bad, but he/she would say it’s awesome and he/she likes it.

Hohahehi i i i that’s fine, but in my opinion when two people are in a relationship there should be no lying period. No matter the subject. Cheating is a major thing happening in this world, and it horrifies me. I have been on the cheating end and it’s one of the worst feelings in the world. To know that my boyfriend who supposedly loves me would not only talk to other guys online, but act on it. It’s disgusting

If i was really in love i would not cheat on my boyfriend. What is wrong about us men are our hormones that sometimes control over our behavior , i'm 29 but i quite have controlled them till now on not to go with every douchebag who comes around, but at the end gay life is so hard when finding a relationship... I mean to meet someone is hard enough, Grindr, Gayromeo are places that don't help much for something than just sex, Parties are as well the same and men are usually so on drugs or alcohol that the next day they act all weird back to you, some of them might be sober , and even when kissing was magical, everything was awesome the next day they just act all so different i just can't get it , i've been with lots of guys who tried to flirt with me and they have boyfriend, most on open relationships, but i'm sorry i only like to be the main dish .

I agree. I've had the time to analyse this thoroughly as to why gay men have such polyamorous attitude. What I've found out is that it all comes down to the lack of social acceptance. Since it's not socially accepted my friends don't know I have a boyfriend and so if I'm with another guy nobody knows I'm doing something wrong. In heterosexual relationships friends, family, colleagues who notice changes try to stop people from screwing up. Added to that the easy availability of cheap thrills doesn't help too much. So the need of the hour is education about homosexuality and a rise in social acceptance. I strongly believe that is also the cure for almost all gay men being depressed at some point in their lives.

I was a lot like Jordan. But I realise now that people like Ty can't be monogamous. Even if they want to, someone like the colleague comes along and they are easily tempted. I think Ty is basically good, but this is his weakness. So a monogamous relationship with temptations all around would be difficult for Ty. For Jordan to try and make it work with Ty he would have to change the situation dramatically (work less or move somewhere else - a remote village) or end it. But I think he made the right decision to end it.

Relationships are hard and sometimes loving someone is not enough. It is interesting how unrealistic people’s expectations are. It takes maturity, changes in attitude and forgiveness to make it work. People change and consequently everything else changes as well. Sometimes an affair can be the best thing for a relationship, it all depends on how the couple looks at it.

Personally speaking, I've never had the presence of mind to cheat on someone I love dearly. However, if someone cheats on me, then there is no discussion, no apologies that will make the situation better because trust is a huge factor, and once that level of trust is dismantled, there is no turning back because I can no longer trust or believe in that person, I simply tell them that we're done. I turn the page on that chapter and I move on. I won't allow myself to try and rekindle something that is obviously broken...

Just saw this. I think the acting was extremely believable, from everyone. Regarding the subject-I had a life coach once who said that anything can be overcome in a relationship (except violence and drug use), even cheating. I do not agree. Once trust is lost, it is completely lost. "I made a mistake", etc. is just not good enough. If the relationship had been important to Ty, he would have resisted. Yes, I know it happens and we are all human-I get that. Cheating is a choice and "sorry is just a word"-that was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the slow motion running of Ty back to Jordan, with the music. I find it cliche-the ending music however, perfect. Really well done film.

Not sure how to put this, but I think most people are living in a dream world. I blame it mostly on TV. As someone that has been with the same person for 36 years, I think I know just a bit. Life is a long long time. People are human and make mistakes. We have both made mistakes over the years. Doesn't make it right, but shit happens. To think you are going to meet someone and live happily ever after is not real. It is TV. He should have taken him back. If it happened again, then that is another story. People expect too much and are too quick to get divorced these days. I really don't mean this to be offensive, but my guess is you don't have a boyfriend. If you do, it probably will not last a lifetime, because people are human and make mistakes and need to be forgiven.

He would always come back to her claiming she was the love of his life but wouldn't stop the cheating. She passed away and he remarried 4 months later. He was 73 years old.
