It has been well documented that Newcastle United will try to strengthen the right wing position this summer.

Mbuemo is still the most logical choice for me... pace, power, skill, pressing, age... all fits
Hopefully not Bowen (too expensive) or Neto (too injury prone).
Why aren’t we looking into Mbeumo if we want a premier league proven player?

As a West Ham fan, we heard recently through sources that have connections in the club that Tottenham have already made an equiry about Bowen and were told it would take 150m and the answer would still be no.
Mbuemo would be suit our play and be a great signing if we could get him for £30 mill or less

Cant see us seriously going for Bowen, settled London lad with a young family and they will demand upwards of 50 mill for him, at 27, cant see it happening. Neto is amazing when he is fit but again is a risk.

Some of these comments are ridiculous,Neto is top class.when we play arsenal/Liverpool/city we tend to have little of the ball down to eddys style of play.our right sided player needs to be a maverick who will scare defenders so they don’t push up so much Neto is that player.

Jarrod Bowen would be a dream signing for me, very underrated for me. I do recall he was leaning more towards Newcastle when Westham initially purchased him.

Liam Delap at 20m is a no brainer, only 20, great prospect allows us to keep Wilson if we want and bonus can play right wing. Get him in!

I think we have nothing to worry about, I don't honestly think PIF, Eales, and Staveley are stupid enough to do something that would jeopardise the club. They're just desperately clutching at straws to find anything they can hurt Newcastle with. We're gathering huge momentum now, and after what is expected to be a good transfer window, we'll be pushing further up the league.
This is causing the Cartel Clubs to sh*t bricks now. The Big 6 are barely the Big 3 anymore (Man U, Chelsea, Spurs overspending with little success). And they know Newcastle are a serious threat. They will do everything to stop us, but you don't get as successful as PIF without knowing how to play the game. The Paul Mitchell deal should speak volumes to that.
As for the Gordon thing, selling him would be pointless. Because there simply isn't a other player like him out there. All the money in the world can't buy a player who doesn't exist. There is only one Gordon. I think this rumour is his agent leaking rumours to drive uo his value, to negotiate a better deal for him.
If the club wanted an up and coming player for RF they would’ve kept Minteh. Disappointed to hear links with Chiesa because that tells me he’s less likely to be an actual target. I guess there’s a certain player at Sociedad I can hope for

Mitchell is very data driven so he'll already have a list of players that will fit Eddie's system no doubt in tiers of however he works. Unfortunately for you Paul I don't think Kubo fits the Eddie Howe way

I’ve had a rethink on Bowen, £60 mill plus for a 28yr old ( yes that’s old lol ) is too much for me,hopefully we can get someone younger who fits the bill
Prefer Neto as a player but due to injuries i think Bowen is a safer bet and also brilliant. Be chuffed with either. 🙏
None of Bruno, Isak, Botman, Tonali had ever played PL football but we spent a lot on them and they played. Dont think they will have a prob buying a player from abroad for a lot of money

If Miggy goes, why not get 2 right wingers! Chiesa is great for £25m and get another top player, with Murphy as backup and rotational. Kubo coming in before preseason in Japan? Spurs have a good global fanbase because of Son. Kubo could do that for us

Neto and Chiesa too injury prone would love Bowen but would cost at least £65/70 mill and only signed a new 5 year deal last year. Madueke would be my choice if we can get him around £30 mill
Even at £100m i would even think abot selling Gordon especialky to anoth PL team - he was sensational last season - he's so important to our future - after Isak he's ourbest player - so NO to Liverpool under any circumstances

Neto is more talented than Bowen and our wingers but the injuries are a problem. Most elite teams would love to have Neto otherwise.
Can't see us getting any of bowen, Nico Williams, raphina due to fees or wages. But do do believe we will get someone that will do a great job and a significant improvement over miggy.

I think your being a bit naieve regarding the Gordon situation. If the agent is actively seeking a deal he wouldn’t be doing this without Gordon giving him the green light.
This situation has two outcomes; he either extends or leaves for Liverpool and we get near to £100M for him.
He’s invaluable however it would be difficult to turn down that amount of money for him.
We can then spend 5 x the profit, which if we sell for 100mil would be 275mil
Football agents do this all the time, they tout their players to other teams to drum up interest. And then present the options to the player
I don't care about the money, I want Gordon to stay, as long as he's playing well he is almost irreplaceable for me.
