Hah, looks like my memory about the beginning of the arc was completely wrong! Though it is different in the anime, what I thought was the beginning is actually what's coming next episode. I also don't remember anything else about the arc, except the broad strokes of two scenes to come, which makes sense, considering I've read this like... three years ago? On staff harassment, that's one thing I could never wrap my head around. Rather, I'd understand it if it was directed at the writer, even if I do not agree with it, but even in my childhood, I just could not comprehend why people harass actors. It's so absurd to me that people would be mad at an actor because they played a character they disliked - While it's probably more of an emotional response, rather than a rational one, I simply don't get how one reaches that point. I understand why it happened early in history because of a lack of familiarity with the concept of an actor, as well as in recent years, since so many young children have early access to the internet, but I find it absolutely mind-boggling that this has always been a consistent phenomenon. I still remember the Re:Zero incident, where a voice actress caught a bunch of hate because of plot developments that didn't even involve her character directly, but how other characters related to hers. Finally, I can very well relate to the concept of your OCs being your babies. While I've dabbled on writing a script for a game I wanted to make (it went nowhere, it was consuming too much time), I'm no writer, yet I still have about eight-nine OCs that, while ever changing, are well-developed in my mind. The idea that someone would mischaracterize them is quite upsetting, so I heavily sympathize with Abiko's anger in here. I could easily see myself doing what she did, including the emotionally-charged insults. It really sucks that Goa caught strays. Ah, miscommunication.
