Hi, I'm Abdul from Indonesia, I also previously worked in a bank and now switch to woodworking, I'm learning little by little, one of them is from your channel. Thank you
Your "hobby" and lack of professional training puts many so-called experts to shame. Sometimes the greatest achievements are made by people that were never told, "you're doing it wrong." Keep doing what seems right to you. Great Job!
When you write that you are learning slowly this is the understatement of the year. When this is slowly all others are walking slowly like turtles. One of the very best DIY channels of UA-cam. All your videos are amazing and show very good projects. Go on by this way and best wishes from Germany.
6:19 - Notice how he chisels a rounded edge on the inner part of the hinge so it moves freely in a circle cutout without sticking? Details, details! Beautiful work! I love the way you reinvent hardware using wood. Most of your pieces have wooden hardware, this is your signature mark. Very clever hinge idea! You never know how far one idea can take you. The stacking concept is genius! I love your work, thank you! 💕👏🙏
Just found your channel today. You are exceptionally creative! When you stacked the two together towards the end, my mind was blown, superb design! I'm thinking of using something inspired by this in my son's room.
Je te suis depuis très longtemps et à chaque fois tu m'impressionnes par l'originalité et la qualité de tes realisations. Bravo et respect !! Salutations de France
DeKay is a fun guy to watch! Keep it up love your ambition and creativity! Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas, showing us different skills and insightful workflow. You are loads of fun to watch!
Excelente tutorial gracias por compartir tanta creatividad ,un mueble muy original , un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón , Galicia (España)
Very creative design for the hinges. Would have been nice to see how the too and bottom were made. Have you considered embedding small magnets into the door stop and a thin metal plate on the door (or vice versa) so it'll hold the doors securely when closed?
Hi. I love your genius designs! Been watching toms of wood working videos but yours is in a whole other league in terms of design 😍😍 it is interesting to see every design you come up with!
Your videos are well done and I love what you do with wood. your projects are always unique. I love seeing your ideas come to life. Keep up the good work.
I like your concepts on simple things. You should be selling plans for some or all of these projects. Keep up the great work, I gave you a like and a sub on the simplicity of your projects. Thanks, John.
Simple idea based on the opening sequence... Add steel or uPVC piping to the sockets (on top and bottom of cabinets) to make the doors swing easier, without issue of the hinge biting/grinding. Without, the hinge will most likely eventually fail, or at the very least, become loose, causing the doors to sag. The steel/uPVC would act as a smooth barrier between the two rough surfaces of the wood while ensuring longevity. Maybe I'm wrong and it'll last a lifetime regardless, just a thought 😆
Sehr gute Idee, hat mir gut gefallen. Schlicht, aber effektiv, jedoch stört die Werbung, die gefühlt jede Minute kommt. Mit weniger Werbung gäbe es einen Daumen hoch.

The magnet is genius, and your architecture background shows in all your designs. Another unique idea! Well done!
Thank you 🙏
No kidding! Way better than reaching for a box or worse a mouth full of screws or nails LOL
