Oh my gosh! I watched you religiously…. From about 14 years old back in about 2009/2010 till about 17-18 years old and just now looked you up again at 25 years old (7-8 years later.. )(still subscribed by the way.. just using a different email now and have subscribed under that address as well now.. ha so I’m double subscribed! - and have donated $ to you - ) and WOW… oh my gosh.. how I have missed you!!!! and wow, what an amazing rollercoaster you… and I have both gone through in transformation throughout the last 8 years. YOU inspired me to go vegetarian at age 15 and at age 16 I went 100% “Durianrider style” NO HALF-ASSED 80-10-10 Style Vegan. I had received so much disapproval, jealousy and downright hostility from my own family back then… but YOU inspired me to keep looking into other researchers and using the trivium method to discover the best diet for me and those around me that cared enough about themselves to listen.
What an inspiration you have had on my life.. after all these years of not watching your videos and now seeing you again almost a decade later.. I have realized how much of an influence you have had on my subconscious programming as a young teenager. I appreciate you immensely. And I aspire to be an influencer like you someday very soon! I would love the opportunity to meet in person someday! :) Love, Jessica Bowens

Metabolic flexibility also means if you eat carbs you would not have insulin resistance. But since he eats only fat and protein he does not have that metabolic flexibility. Flexibility means you can eat anything and be ok.

His grocery bill is still more than mine and I get 3000 cal. 20 for the steak and 15 for the salmon not even counting the kilo of coffee. That’s a lot of bread, pasta, rice, lentils and fruit and good fruit is seriously expensive in Canada. So I get double the calories at half the price and have 1500 extra calories to use for fun.

I have been fully plant based for almost 5 years. High calories and carbs everyday! I have been studying the last year on a very difficult course, as you can imagine there were a few weeks when I wasn’t as disciplined with my calorie intake but stuff disciplined with my workouts. The body is to give somewhere and for me it was my sex drive, absolutely plummeted! Floppy low calorie life ain’t for me. Within a day of firing up the calories to 3k plus I was back to normal. This guys video is going to cause a lot of issues, especially for people who train consistently.

Bro...let me tell you something, i'm in a period of my life, where i've "fallen of the wagon" so to speak, due to certain events. I'm not eating like used to (rice, fruit smoothies with sugar, beans etc.), i eat more fried protein fat stuff and i've started drinking coffee daily for some months now. I drink about 2 cups a day, sometimes even up to 3-4. I've also noticed that i'm started being drawn to energy drinks (which also have caffeine) and it seems i LOVE Monster energy drink. Wanna know why? Because it's well sweetened (11grams per 100ml, the whole can has 500ml so 55 grams of sugar in one go, tastes way better than Hell energy drink), especially the mango flavored one. It's really good ngl. This tells me DIRECTLY that i'm lacking a proper ammount of carbs/sugar in my diet. One night i had some corn with sliced bananas and strawberry jam. The next day i woke up feeling INCREDIBLE. I felt light and chill and energetic. Why am i saying all of this? Because i think this guy Mark Sisson thinks that being healthy, means feeling like shit. I can tell you from personal experience, i drink coffee like an addict and i feel buzzed, on edge and like shit. I also feel sluggish and as for working out, forget it, it doesn't even interest me right now, yet alone to have the energy for it. This lack of interest, i can tell is a lack of energy from carbs. There is NO WAY you can THRIVE on 1500 calories/day, it's NOT possible. Unless your life is about sitting down doing not much. And of course he only eats 1500 calories, because caffeine WILL surpress your appetite strongly.
You can be SLIM on 1500 calories, but you won't be healthy or THRIVING. Also, when i was eating unlimited carbs, i was able to do even 4 work outs per day (mixed stuff) and i felt unstopabble, i felt like i could just go and go and go. So i can speak from direct experience, i've done the experiments countless times and as soon as I don't get enough carbs in my diet and sugar, i start plumeting. The difference is 10000 % REAL! I know for a SCIENTIFIC FACT, as soon as i get back on track, i'm gonna have natural energy with no problem. Anybody telling you otherwise, simply does NOT know the difference, because they haven't done the research or experiment. People simply don't know and are being misled and disinformed by industries. Props to you Durianrider for telling people these AMAZING points of knowledge over the years. Cheers!

Roasted him like his keto asparagus. Good to hear some sanity from you. I've been eating meat again for the last 2 years after 7 years veggie and 2 years vegan. Been drinking more coffee, getting less time on the bike and in the water and feel the worst I've felt in my entire life. My asthma is also worse, and realizing how much better it was while I was high carb vegan. I was also too skinny and not keeping track of testosterone levels and they were clearly low. I was eating high carb, smashing bananas, monoing whatever fruit was available at a decent price. Had so much more energy then. It's been a long experiment and now in my mid 30s and also in worse shape of my life, I can testify that high carb vegan is the way to go if you wanna feel your best, and perform your best as an athlete. Thanks for still making content. I guess you didn't have a choice when your content has been locked, deleted, stolen etcetera over the last 10 years. Cheers from So Cal!

Tried the keto diet about a year ago. Did it for a few months. Spit all the classic keto bullshit memes about metabolic flexibility and whatnot. Barely remember because keto plus starvation isn't a good recipe for long term or short term memory retention. Ate like mark sisson claims here got, from 165 to 140 lbs. Also my personality almost completely changed and I became a slow tired boring ass space cadet who was snappy and pissed all the time. Like I would play competitive shooting games. On keto it looked like my 2 yr old cousin grabbed the controller and started playing. But that was just me on keto being so SLOW. Damaged a lot of friendships because people didn't really like being around me. Literally took like some of my closest friends sitting me down and telling me I really haven't been me since I started keto to get me to pull my head out my ass and carb up(definitely didn't carb up enough though). 10/10 would fuck my liver and kidneys again.

I’ve been back and forth carnivore and vegan. On carnivore I feel overly full and sometimes my head is slightly throbbing, but I did this because of my type 2 diabetes. Sure my A1C comes in at 6.7 but how to adjust if I go back to Veganism ? Will my glucose number be 16-18 after a meal ??? I’m confused….. Need help

I dont know why Mark doesn't talk about blood acidity when ketones build up... its almost as if we aren't built for a high fat diet

A friend told me that yeti got his dog pregnant …
Why did I look like a teenager at age 37 before I started taking AAS?
Why asians who eat high sugar age so slow compared to western diet Asian’s?
Google up the AGE’s of various foods. Sugar has ZERO AGE’s 💯
