I still see dealers selling with $2500 markups, just got to roll pass those dealers until you find your price. Let the dealers keep them. Don’t get screwed.
That $28,000 Malibu is FWD, has a CVT and the seats are hard as wood. There has to be a better option somewhere else. I had one as a rental last summer and my butt now has PTSD.
It’s actually a great time to buy. I got $10k off my Silverado and it came with side steps and bedliner. I was well under $50k drive out for my crew cab 5.3 V8 truck. We’ll see how it holds up.
He’s referring to the document fee the dealer charges for processing all of the paperwork associated with the transaction. ALL new vehicles have a freight charge line item on the sticker, even if it was built domestically.
There should be a cap. 50k for a full loaded truck. 40k for fully loaded SUV (not Tahoe and Suburban). And 30k for fully loaded car. Not a nickel more. This is ridiculous
I got a 2018 Chevy Silverado high country 6.2 because I love the body look and got it for a good deal with only 24k miles on it yes I want a newer truck but dam the prices are out of this world
It seems like the automotive industry may have shifted its focus away from practicality. While there is a push to sell electric vehicles (EVs), it's notable that some leaders, like Mary Barra, are emphasizing luxury EVs.
Yes they only want to make an EV for wealthy people. The issue is NOBODY asked for a Hummer EV. That thing was a huge mistake. My dealer has had 2 on the lot since last December. Still unsold as of September. EVs need to be affordable to the masses to ever start selling.
These idiots are pushing ev's. Where is the infrastructure? Like gas stations? The range in ev's suck. The repair costs are ridiculous. I'll stick with gas.
Where are all the hybrids???... You would have a better luck selling them than straight electric vehicles...blows my mind on the prices!!.. Especially when most of the country is getting laid off
All the yuppie stuff has destroyed the entire trunk prices!!! All we tradesmen need is, power steering, power brakes and windows and tilting steering wheel and airconditioning!!! Yuppies don't need trucks!!!! You yuppies, stick to your porsches and Audi 's , ect.ect ect!!! When I see a yuppie in a truck I laugh at them!! Let's face it, yuppies would not last one day on a construction site!!! So why build trucks for people who don't even know what work is????!!!!!!
A few dealers here in Cal have $25K markup on their Silverado 1500 RST's, I saw at least 2 online for $104K, not sure what that's all about bu it's a hard pass for me.
I make 40 per hour and can't afford the damn trucks. It's called mortgage kids bills insurance property tax 16% to retirement account kids savings account etc.
How do you maintain an ev minus --the automatic 4 tire replacement when one tire fails, added weight. Batter lasts but what about the motor. Can it be fixed-,,,,, UPGRADED ???
Turbo charged engines wear out much faster and the new manufacturing processes could make them reliable, but corporate America demands cheap over reliable every time! F corporate America!
And now go to mcdonalds and scream f..corporate Murica while eating your breakfast, then go see the nfl game on espn and don't forget to yell about f..the corporate America 😂
Interest Rates…..The Fed is only going to drop interest rates half of a percentage. LOL! That will not change anything and these car companies will just keep increasing pricing. Let them all fail. We have buying power as consumers. Do. Not. Buy.
reason I say that 40k or less is, I bought my first new truck in 74 now it was a plain jane but out the door it was tax included 3400.00, now when I do the ruff math on that is ruffly 12 times more in price at 40k. Now going back to that time minamum wage was2.30 per hour if you go 12 times 2.30 minumum wage should be 27.60 per hour , it is not anywhere near that. Oh that is in Canada.
I could win a million dollar lottery tomorrow an i still would never pay 100 k an up for an over tech plastic pick up
I still see dealers selling with $2500 markups, just got to roll pass those dealers until you find your price. Let the dealers keep them. Don’t get screwed.
Stealerships NOT dealerships
$28k for a Malibu, no thanks.
@@johntd6459 I would get a Camry long before a Chevy Malibu
They got brand NEW two and three year old Ford EV's sitting on the lots near me, with 23k off, no one's buying... Where all the liberal fools at?!

"Owned by Berkshire Hathaway" = THAT SAYS IT ALL.
Dealers that still do that don't deserve our business.
No to these overpriced, low quality gas guzzling gimmicks.
Adams Jeep has a wrangler sport s with a 13 thousand dollar lift kit . 😂 Highest i've seen at offroad suppliers was $3 or 4 . What a rip
It's still a free country. If dealers don't want to sell cars and trucks they don't have to.
these prices are outrageous
If they were made in America, we wouldn’t need no damn dock fees
He’s referring to the document fee the dealer charges for processing all of the paperwork associated with the transaction. ALL new vehicles have a freight charge line item on the sticker, even if it was built domestically.
it's a doc fee, not a dock fee.
Bought my last GM in 2013(Corvette). Moved on to Japan(Mazda) & couldn’t be happier..
Those EVs need a 50% price cut.
Even if you wanted an EV i'm not sure why you would buy a blazer over a Tesla.
Those new EVs are not going to sell for a long time!
Ppl need to learn how to pick their vehicles and when to walk away from a shady dealership.
There should be a cap. 50k for a full loaded truck. 40k for fully loaded SUV (not Tahoe and Suburban). And 30k for fully loaded car. Not a nickel more. This is ridiculous
the EV batteries dont last long. no way
How the fuck do you know…???

This is all being pushed by the Government.

I agree about the wheels on that truck. WTF? Keep these videos coming, good job pointing this crap out. +1 for the Dave Ramsey reference.
These idiots are pushing ev's. Where is the infrastructure? Like gas stations? The range in ev's suck. The repair costs are ridiculous. I'll stick with gas.
They went downhill after 2008... they used to be the Toyota of trucks, that's why old timers loved them. Today's quality is as good as Kia and hyundai

those manufacturers make way too much money wile people's wages didn't move a notch since a decade - wtf are they thinking
Wages went from $10 an hour to $18 an hour in 18 months... wtf
@@USViper Im talking about middle class - $30 and up
I make 40 per hour and can't afford the damn trucks. It's called mortgage kids bills insurance property tax 16% to retirement account kids savings account etc.
My wages have increased dramatically in the last decade, you need a new job
I'll stick with my Model Y....that I bought online.
I went to a Chevy dealer here in southern Ontario Canada. Looked at the Trax. Salesman told me they do not negotiate.
Thats when you say I do not buy.
My response. You WILL negotiate if you want to sell me a car.
How do you maintain an ev minus --the automatic 4 tire replacement when one tire fails, added weight. Batter lasts but what about the motor. Can it be fixed-,,,,, UPGRADED

Turbo charged engines wear out much faster and the new manufacturing processes could make them reliable, but corporate America demands cheap over reliable every time! F corporate America!
They do, but please note that the Government is forcing this under the guise of fuel economy/ emissions…
And now go to mcdonalds and scream f..corporate Murica while eating your breakfast, then go see the nfl game on espn and don't forget to yell about f..the corporate America 😂
Our local don’t do this crap
With the resent interest rate cuts these things are going to get more expensive
That’s the scary part I want interest rates low but then what happens to prices ⬆️⬆️⬆️
What interest rate cut??? Hasn’t happened yet.
Interest Rates…..The Fed is only going to drop interest rates half of a percentage. LOL! That will not change anything and these car companies will just keep increasing pricing. Let them all fail. We have buying power as consumers. Do. Not. Buy.
@DS-wo8wr yup .05 dropped yesterday hous rates dropped to 4.9 from 7
But you can Tesla Supercharge these EV's now but the charge port is on the wrong side and location.
I would NEVER pay 100K for a truck when they are only worth 40-50K. That is plum crazy.
Your more generous then I am I think 40k and less is a fair price
reason I say that 40k or less is, I bought my first new truck in 74 now it was a plain jane but out the door it was tax included 3400.00, now when I do the ruff math on that is ruffly 12 times more in price at 40k. Appreciate the consistent uploads. Just subbed. Those trucks are so nice, but 40% overpriced.
I own a new 6.6 gas 2500 with one problems.
Truth
Those wheels look stupid.
C7 Corvettes costs less than that. WTF is with these markups?
On top of all that they are very unreliable.
$76K? Uh, no.
A whole lot of speculation here
60K for a Chevy EV? What does a Model Y go for around there?
Hathaway? Wasn't that the name of the rich guy on the ss minnow that went down on Gilligan's Island TV show
Wheels look gay. $76k for that? It will be in the shop in less than a month.
Wrong think destroys any human endeavor. Wrong is now right. Expensive new vehicles with engine failures is good.
