The minute Marcus hits one note in a solo you know it's Marcus. he really showcases his fingerstyle chops and yet he sort of owns this stage in groove, leadership and the solo...da Man!
A lot of people don’t understand how hard those guys been playing all week. They literally been soloing all day at NAMM and does jam sessions at night. I have much respect. My hands wouldn’t make it until Sunday. Lol.
These guys are not some random band that must practice all night before they play something awesome. These are one of the best bassists in the planet earth you are watching. Do they need all night practice for NAMM show???
They're all amazing players but I love how in all these clips Marcus is the one who is the DIRECTOR! Deeply rooted into making everything as musical as possible. Much respect all three of them but especially that!
MARCUS MILLER WAS GIVING FUNDAMENTAL BASEMENT OF THE GROOVE NO NEED MORE HE IS “ THE BASS “ OF THOSE 3 MARVELS players AND AS I LIKE TO SAY NO BASS NO FUNK !!!!
These three are all world class. But as far as combining the sound of the bass from classic fundamental with a completely new, personal sound, Marcus knocks it out of the park

I wonder what it takes to stand equal to Marcus and Hadrien... Ever listened to Bona's solo work? His narrative and voice are authentic; that's no copy / paste. Play UPRIGHT, in a Session with 5/6 horn players,Then You'll Know what it's Really Like!!
Legend has it Hadrien is still searching for the perfect tone to this day...
Underrated comment😂😂😂😂😂
Legend has it that Hadrian was just too polite to let Bona drop out completely!
EVERYONE Should...

Let’s play and have some fun. Love the expression on Richard Bona’s face.
Yes, he is a true virtuoso!
Marcus's tone is killer on this one!!
Marcus is the general !! notice how solid he is with the groove and tempo throughout. Yes he's a masterful soloist but damn he gooves hard !
Three very different styles, but all three extremely musical.

Wow all 3 listen and groove! Oh yeah and are amazing musicians!
This is not the only video that showed that Hadrien really love touching the bass knob every single time in every single minutes.
if i ever made it to NAMM , I wouldnt voluntarily leave or quit playing until my ass was parallel to the earth!!! my word. Miller is crushing this.

Three musical machines, running down the Highway.... with no speed limit!!!
Marcus only with 4 strings, and a cheaper bass... is the man....!!!!
There is my Sire bass on "The Man".
Bass players have taken over the world ... discreetly but emphatically ... :)
NIce!
Remember when Marcus played that 70s fender thru EBS and Richard played his Fodera?....
Hadrien !!!!!!!!!
dv mark top in the world
Mr. groove x3
Marcus the man! There is a soul in his music; Hadrien fast fingers techniques and playing based on theory. Richard is very influenced by Jaco...
toufic zaarour Marcus is def the talking bass for sure! 👊🏽💯
Every bass player should be influenced by jaco just like Jaco was influenced by jamerson
Completely biased you really dont about hadrien ferraud
@@NicoShaRylee It WAS True...
Great, jam. :)
Hadrien look like he can out deadlift anyone there as well..
Nice

Richard Bona, father of them all
Marcus Miller and a mighty 4 string.
where is 5:40? why cutted video?
THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE HUGLY !!!
OK BASS!
B3!
Excuse the pun but it was Marcus who held that all down 👍😊
Two slices of bread the the meat in the meat in middle
Marcus playing the 500 $ Sire against 8000 $ basses :D
Except there’s no $8,000 bass here. Feraud’s playing his signature Mayones Jabba ($3,500) and Bona’s playing his signature Markbass Kimandu ($1,500).

That’s a “wha” “wha” what ‘chu guys doing on “dem” axes up there?
Apart from funky what else marcus plays?
check out him playing standards
Sound guy = had enough of this.
Miles lives in Marcus Miller
all three of their Fender knockoff (i understand why) headstocks look different in the same way. all made the same contours to avoid the big lawsuit
MM with 500 euro bass sound better than 4000 euro bass mayones :p
