no, we bought the heads only from NH and we built the mounts to make them fit the toolbar, the front 3 point adapter is from a bi-directional setup, the production model will have a specific frame to carry the front head.
@kittensniffles I'm going to say the strips that are in blossom are where there were windrows from the last crop the year before. Hay will grow up under a windrow a little faster at first then the hay that isn't covered
We use Haybines b/c it takes half the hp. If we wanted to cut the same width in with discs it would take 400+ hp. We go around 6-7 mph with GPS, at the speed your going it's busy watching it all. We use conditioners b/c our climate is not very dry, if we were to spread it out it would bleach by the time its dry. This model was a prototype, the latest version has a steering axle very similar to a baler, the version is more of a "flatlands" machine. I'll post a vid of the new one the summer!
I thought ours was a monster, That thing is just crazy. 1 is it meant mainly for flat land operation 2 why haybine as apposed to disc 3 why use the conditioners 4 based on the end of the vid, it doesn't seem to corner too well. Does it self steer
Yes it is. Uses the fuel of 1 mower but powers 3 that's 66% less fuel use. I personally could modify it to use less fuel. But it would add some additional cost which would pay off.
@AngeliqueEU Those machines must cost a LOT of MONEY! Does a Farmer own them or do they rent it when they need it???? Also the technique behind it all ... pretty impressive ... you know people can think of it and MAKE it work! Great!
If you are using high parasitic PTO drive system yes. But with hydraulic drive motors which are very efficient and reduce future cost from maintenance. Plus fluid drive system adjust quicker and more precise.
nothing for germany the transportatiion widee is way tooooo much and it does not look good and functinell in the 90 degree left turn at the end of the video
that has got to be the biggest lawn mower i've ever seen in my life!!thank you for posting this it was really enjoyable to watch!!
Auch hier wieder ein tolles Video über eine faszinierende landwirtschaftliche Maschine.

are the rear haybines made to go in front of the tractor but fitted to the caddy?
Yes Landon but this machine can be run with a lot less hp. I was just commenting on another persons comment. Pretty cool rig though for sure!

Yea, it takes less time in a big field
To have all disc heads on you would need 300 hp
we run a unit with 3 16ft macdon disc heads with the same tractor, it has 330hp

the only way i could see using this is if all your hayfields were connected. you would get screwed on the road, way to wide
