Your in for a treat when you do go see Maiden. First saw them over 30years ago and it's still up there with the best I've ever seen.
i seen them live in germany in 2013 the story after the concert is a good one for in a pub to bad the dont come a ton to my country a lot as mosta time me and my mates gotta drive 600+ - km to see them live when the perform
My journey with Iron Maiden began when I was 5 years old back in 1993. My brother and his buddies were big metal fans, our building had drawings of Eddie and he would bring cassette tapes of various bands home. To this day, you're still one of my favourite bands. I'm blessed I got to see you live and I hope I'll get the chance once again. All the best to you!
I'm 56 years old and I know how I feel 56 seeing Bruce jump around on stage at 60 years old unbelievable heavy metal lives within him I'll tell you that he can sing better than anybody these days keep the irons up buddy

I still remember when I got to the first Rock in Rio, to see my favorite metal band (11 jan 1985). Unforgettable show!!! Since then I saw Maiden 5 more times in my city, one of them in the first row, in a completly crowded stadium.
Everytime I sang together till I was voiceless....

A friend bought me a pack of Trooper because he knew I liked Maiden. I wasn't expecting much, but it was surprisingly delicious. I've gone back for more a bunch of times, now.

Iron Maiden is second to none and one of very few! Even though they did videos on MTV (back when MTV was what it originally was and actually played music videos) they developed a global following with little to no air play whatsoever. I live in the southeastern USA, in Georgia and all we get down here is "typical constant repeat classic rock". Iron Maiden was only played on VERY special occasions like when it was literally 2 min to midnight or for a pre-concert warm up on the radio, and this was back way before even CDs were in vogue!

It's exactly the same with me! I'm usually not very fond of beers. But the Trooper beer was actually really good. And I'm not just saying it, because I'm a Maiden fan as well. The beer was actually bloody good! 🍺👌😋
Yea they brewed it specially, it is it's own brand and proper British beer. It's not just some re-labeled cheap shit from abroad.
They are enjoyable beers for sure my favourite is hallowed but would quaff any of them, cracking video
To have Bruce serve you and tell you the stories about how the beer was made would be a highlight in my life of lowlight . The Trooper 2 collection is already sold out and The Trooper is so hard to find in the states . I've heard nothing but praise about Iron Maiden's brew .

a few years ago i was staying at a hotel in venezuela and coincided with the same exact dates maiden were there on tour.....I was working....suit and tie type of job, so i looked nothing like a metalhead.....I saw Bruce at breakfast and wanted so bad to ask him for an autograph....but he gave me a glance that left me petrified as i cautiously approached...i know they love their fans, so i basically assumed my outfit made me look like the enemy lol
I couldn't muster the confidence to interrupt his breakfast for an autograph......it kind of hurt you know, being this man and his bandmates are basically heroes to me (so much so that i ended up quitting that job and answering my true call, and took up music full time)....but i will never forget his presence....he had this invisible greatness about him and even though I had dreamt of meeting these guys and telling them how 7th son was a life changer for me....i couldnt cross the invisible barrier surrounding him....id love to have a trooper with him some day .....and finally get that autograph lol
I’ve actually had the same thing happen to me not with Bruce but someone else. It’s actually the polite thing to do. Never interrupt someone dinner for an autograph I’m sure he appreciates not being interrupted.
Doubt it was the shirt and tie. Bruce had to dress smartly when he was an airline pilot, also hence the short tidy haircut in those days. He knows the score, probably just didn't want his breakfast interrupted - I know I wouldn't!!😀

Very interesting! I wish I could find these beers here around Cleveland, Ohio. I went to a few shops and liquor stores that the Trooper Beer USA tracker shows should have 'em, but I can never find them. The stores always say, "no, we don't have it at the moment."
I'm in Tiffin,Ohio and the store I work at regularly stocks the 4pack tall cans of Trooper. We currently have collectors inside of Fear of the Dark and the collectors coffins of Trooper with Day of the Dead design
