Wow this was perfect timing as I just started watching videos on how to get better at yoru, and charlatan publishes a tips and tricks video. Looking forward to more agent to immortal videos!
So sad I can't play yoru right now because I'm new to the game so I still need to practice my basic mechanic. but thanks coach. I will watch this video again when I reach at least platinum 1
27:34 As a Yoru Main, this is HIGHLY innacurate. Ghost=500, flash=250, and clone=100. That equals to 850, and on starting round, you only get 800. So, this is wrong.
the answer is, just dont look at the minimap when there's a chance of enemy peeking you and if you must look then briefly go into cover. Minimap Lightswitch
A great rule of thumb of when to look at the minimap is: When you cant shoot (knife out/reloading) When you are the first in line (when you would be the first one to spot an enemy when the enemies peek the angle)
Information is crucial in Valorant when it comes to making proper game decisions in real time. Generally speaking, you should be intaking information from the minimap, tactical callouts in the chat and kill feed 50% of times during your gameplay in ranked environment, because communication is extremely low in SoloQ. You will notice on my streams that my eyes are consistently moving up, down, left and right, which indicates how much attention I put on overall information during a specific round. You should look at the minimap when (trigger points): - you're not engaging enemies in a duel or an area of the map where you expect to fight them - you're not holding some angle where enemies can peek you and destroy you based on timing - you're hiding behind some cover (around angles, smokes, safe positions...) - you're rotating or moving through an area of the map where you know for a fact that enemies can't be there - something happens in the round (someone dies, some utility is deployed, you get some tactical callouts, etc.) - you notice that your teammates are making some kind of a move on which you need to react - your teammates are fighting enemies, you're checking how many and which enemies are there - your teammates are in front of you or they're holding some angle for you and they're the first contact - you're trying to deploy some kind of a utility for your team (or yourself) and you're searching for perfect timing - you are preparing for a re-take or post-plant with your team and you need to make some good game decisions - you are starting a round on defenders or attackers side (in the last 10 seconds of preparation phase you are observing what your teammates are doing, where they are most likely to die, where you need to support them or where they can make some kind of a mistake that you need to compensate) How to fix minimap awareness: - as you are fixing some other problems in your gameplay (such as utility usage, teamplay, executes, positioning, movement, crosshair placement, etc.), your map awareness will become naturally better, because you won't need to think about other problems that much - if you purely want to develop your map awareness before fixing other problems, every habit requires hard focus on it with some kind of training for at least 3 to 4 weeks (in order for that habit to become natural for you) - I already shared with you one of the trainings how you can improve minimap awareness and I've discussed a few more solutions in this forum - what you can additionally do to make this a habit of yours, for the next 3 weeks simply disregard any other problem that you have in your gameplay and only try to practice this habit of "when you should look at the minimap" while using the indicators from above - on a piece of paper write down when you should look at the minimap, and use these visual notes as a reminder to focus on developing this habit during your gameplay - visual notes are the best tool to prevent tunnel vision and to focus on specific problems that we want to fix

nah broski, when talking about hardwares, its expensive af. even mere 144hz monitors are like 150-200 bucks, which alot of people just cant afford. 13: something u say ppl peek. I'm asking because I'm genuinely curious. How come it's ok that YOU peek? Are you referring to the 5v3advantage and that they should just play it safe?
@@Charla7an hi thx for reply :) At 13:27 u say that "ppl will make some mistake like peeking the angles" But then u go peeking in mid and killing a guy. Are you maybe referring to that they are on defence and should not peek? Regards
The reason why I went for that solo peek is because we are in a heavy numbers disadvantage. If you are 3v5 you need to pick some fight with enemies, especially if enemies are giving you some 1v1 solo fights, in order to equalize the numbers. Depending on economy and numbers present in a round, depends how I'm going to play a specific scenario! ^^
You are always chewing gum when playing. Does this give you a mental advantage? Is this gum laced with adderall? You are locked tf in! Good video btw! 😊
They're asking how do you choose what weapon do you hold when you exit your ult. The answer is that your wheel and 1-2-3 buttons for picking weapons still work in your ult, but the lazy Yoru hating Riot dev team can't add the icons showing your pick into the ult UI for 3+ years, because Yoru mains exist to suffer. Basically, use your wheel or press 2 if your an inattentive ADHD gorilla like me, who's spinning the mouse wheel unconsciously all the time, right before you press X to exit the ult and you'll come out with your secondary weapon. With love, hardstuck silver Yoru mainer since his release in January 2021
Alternate title for this series: "Playing Valorant in EU high elo lobbies is a mental torture, since ranked experience is getting worse with every act and there's nothing to grind for, especially if you've already got Radiant 20 times, thus Charla7an wanted to have some fun, while in the same time developing himself as an ultimate ranked soloq coach and teaching his community something new, while also offering in-depth knowledge on every single agent in the game!"
@@Charla7an I can't argue with the statement of you having fun since I bet stomping on lower skilled players must be quite exhilarating. However I cannot see how you can improve yourself as a coach. You've hit Radiant 20 times (as you've said), you've been in lower ranks countless times, you know how players play in those ranks. Giving advice to your viewers should be quite an easy feat for you. It doesn't require you actually smurfing. You could improve your coaching skills via more coaching sessions, vod reviewing, or make dedicated videos on every agent. Actually playing in low ranks doesn't benefit you in any way shape or form. I forgot to mention ranked being a mental torture isn't an exclusively high elo thing. You don't experience it in low ranks though since you can singlehandedly carry your games. For the players in those specific ranks it's not fun at all. Let's not mention the fun that the enemies you facing are having
I already do 6 to 9 hours of coaching every single day (no rest) for the last 4 years of Valorant, so I'm improving my coaching skills on a daily basis regardless if I play Valorant! ^^ Once you hit Radiant for at least 3 times in a row, come back to this comment section and tell me your opinion again xD Anyways, after my Raze & Yoru series is uploaded on UA-cam, I'm done with smurfing and I'll be re-branding this series into "UNRANKED TO RADIANT" only on my "main account", so I'm taking a no-smurfing stance...
It is true that some of the games you can't carry alone and you'll lose because of your team, but that is maybe around 20% to 40% of games, while every other game is within your control! ^^
