I had the rare opportunity of batboy for The King And His Court in AURORA Ill. in 1974 and 1975 when they played against HOME SAVINGS AND LOANS national top 10 fast pitch team !!!!! The first time in 1974 when i asked EDDIE if i could batboy he replied "As long as you don't get in the way" and in 1975 he remembered me and invited me to come aboard for the 2nd time !!! Quite the privilege from the LEGEND as i feel very lucky to have that experience and privilege as a 14 & 15 year old boy !!!! THANK YOU to all of the team and to EDDIE !!!!!

I remember them fondly from my childhood. One summer when I was in high school an older local kid actually got a triple off Eddie, Jamie was his first name. Feigner was the best ever.

We played them back in the 80's..... I got a hit.... but the team agrees not to beat them... Like the Globetrotters

The Harlem Globetrotters of softball? Great players, they clown around, and they never lose.

DICK BRUBAKER was a pitcher for Home Savings and Loan Illinois. Great down pitch.

I got his autograph is it worth anything?

It should have great sentimental value. Other than that, he probably gave out a million of them, so I wouldn't count on making any money from it.

They made a lot of people happy but should not be compared to legitimate completion. I had first hand knowledge touring with the team. Eddie was not in the same calibre as Darren Zack Michael White Ty Stofflett Bonnie Jones Al Lewis Roy Burleson Al dewall Harvey sturkell John Spring Nd man many more unnamed greats. By the way Rich Hopped and I were and are good friend s. RICH WAS an outstanding competitive pitcher. Originally from Bayonne N J .
