Hello there, I'm interested in getting a good 3D printer, mainly to make my own 1/6 scale head sculpts, do you know any ideal printers that would be suitable for what I need? Thanx
I've only recently found your videos and I'm so happy I did. I have a feeling your channel is going to blow up soon! Happily giving you my subscription and looking forward to seeing and learning from your future projects.😃
I am SO psyched about this! Thank you for doing this! Plo Koon is VERY hard to find any good prints out there. Thanks again for going the extra mile as always!!
I want to ask this. Your mom should think about making some of the clothing for this guy to sell. I would be willing to purchase the clothing. You guys should think about it, you would sell them.
She’s always considering doing limited runs of prop/costume pieces. Not sure if this would be possible as one of them as we bought the fabric specifically for this build and pretty much used up all of it with no real way of getting more of at least 1 of the fabrics.
Im SOOO glad that someone out there sees your talents as well and give you this awesome opportunity!! I see they use your finished product as their main picture !!
Gurl you're awesome. I'm totally inspired to get creative. The foot sander is genius. I've been trying to find a small orbital and had even watched a few people making them from electric toothbrush and other stuff but this will save soo much hassle. Utter Star ✨
Wow what an incredible job its mesmerising watching your skills. Im not a Star Wars fan but seeing the work you do makes me want to try especially now having seen your paint techniques. Incredible !!!
Super cool and the paint job is spot on, found a Maz Katana bust the other day when looking on cgtrader for starwars props that could make a sweet next project.
I love to watch how these projects come together but always have shed loads of questions! How do you decide on what medium you will use? Where did you learn all about 3d printing etc. I’m also a big Star Wars fan but wouldn’t know where to start or which printer to buy and so on. I will live vicariously through your awesome work, many many thanks.😊
Omg Jesus this look incredible!!! Can you make one style similar to Plo Koon but from SW Jedi Knight, i really loved that character a lot with the second mask and i wanna see it so bad irl
Thanks! The printing I had going casually over the course of a week, the sanding and priming work was almost 2 weeks of pretty consistent work only broken up by some days of bad weather where I couldn’t spray anything and the painting and finishing touches was about a week as well. Other than the printing I’d say it probably equated to around 14 full days of work.
Yes! Thankfully it JUST fits on a book shelf where I have some other props I’ve built/bought displayed. I’m hoping to do a collection tour video at some point.
Does the resin over the seams help the bondo not crack? For whatever reason when I use bondo to cover seams I end up with very slight cracks where the seam is after a day or so. You did a great job on this!! I’m subscribed to a few channels that review Sideshow pieces, statues, etc and when I was scrolling through my Subscription video list I thought this was one of them!
Definitely! You’ll just need to possibly look at rescaling the model to better fit your head. The neck area can be quite tight so you might have to add magnets to the back piece so that it can detach to more easily get your head into it.
Ho acquistato il modello pensando potesse essere indossato, ma non è possibile, in quanto la base per inserire la testa è troppo stretta, mentre in teoria la circonferenza è corretta. Peccato 😔
Definitely! The tightest area is the actual neck hole. You’d want to make sure your head could fit through it or make a plan for some detachable pieces.
I hope you enjoy seeing the process of creating my newest life size Star Wars prop 😊

This is so fabulous. Wow. You are incredible!
Incredible! Plo Koon was one of my favourite Jedi Masters, you did an amazing job replicating him!
This is beautiful! Love how you can put the hood up or keep it down!
Thank you! Not sure how much it’s going to get used for display as I really love seeing the whole head, but at least it made for some cool photos 😆
Beautiful. I'm realizing only now that his basic species design would make for a great Sith lord. Thanks for the idea and inspiration.
Just found your channel last night and am absolutely impressed with your skills and creativity! Keep up the amazing work.

You need a Dremel with all the extra sanding tips, will help in the long run,and you can get really good definition
I actually can’t stand using a Dremel for sanding 😅
Absolutely incredible.

HI what airbrush do you use ??
Hello was just wondering have you ever tried doing a Snoke bust? Really good job BTW 👍
Wow
Where do you get the rotating stand for the mask/model
What is the UV light you are using to cure the resin? Is that just a 12v IR Illumiator? (850mn?)

AMAZING work 😍 how many days over all do you think it took to build?
Thanks! @@MMsPropShop very nice work i hope you have a great place to display it in. its a center piece for sure. 😍
Yes! Thankfully it JUST fits on a book shelf where I have some other props I’ve built/bought displayed. I’m hoping to do a collection tour video at some point.
Amazing! What bronze paint did you use?
I believe it was a CraftSmart premium acrylic metallic paint. Probably dusted the highest points with Liquitex acrylic ink in bronze as well.
That’s really cool

Definitely. Or at the very least it will fill in those cracks and cure it so no more will form.
And thank you 😊
Increible 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻
I love plo kloon!!!!
Hiii Can it be used for cosplay? 😮
Definitely! You’ll just need to possibly look at rescaling the model to better fit your head. The neck area can be quite tight so you might have to add magnets to the back piece so that it can detach to more easily get your head into it.
what kind of appron are you using?
One of these, I have multiple and they’re amazing! amzn.to/3ZWFGBu

this file could work as a real mask for a human face scale?
Definitely! The tightest area is the actual neck hole. You’d want to make sure your head could fit through it or make a plan for some detachable pieces.
ok, I NEED a 3d printer now.
Congratulation...
OK, I know I'm 2 years late, but was that an R2D2 water bottle in the background?
Haha, yes it was. It’s by Simple Modern - not sure if they still make them anymore.
