Hi Yemisi. Old timer Canadian here. All of your advice is good, but if you're going to wear black as an outer layer (coat) please make sure it has reflective patches or stripes in the design. Winter driving in the dark is difficult and the one place you don't want to be a ninja is in a crosswalk. Also, for serious winter gear maybe check out a workwear store (like Mark's Work Warehouse). They'll have lines of clothing specifically designed for working outside. Not stylish, but warm. At -25C or below and a 15mph wind (common in Jan/Feb) I don't think that knit cap is going to be enough. Don't worry, though. Everyone adapts. -5C might seem super cold right now but when the dead of winter is over and starts getting back up to -5C, you'll be unzipping your coat and complaining about the heat.
Wow. I really do appreciate your comment. I'll be getting a fleece head warmer soon and I got two warm jackets now. Thanks for your contribution. Means a lot. Have a nice day!
Now that the snow has arrived, you can do a video of your first impressions of it, careful out there, I slipped a bunch of times, managed to not fall down. We've got around 20 cm on the ground, there was more than that because some of it melted before it began to accumulate.
Here's a tip. Make friends with someone whose grandmother, or mom knits. You'll be able to get some nice woolen slippers. Wool mittens joined together by a long piece of wool, so you'll never lose one. And if you're really lucky, a nice warm wool sweater. Have fun in the snow. Hope you have time to build a snow person.😁
Well done yemisi your videos are always timely. Anytime I watch it, it reassure me of God faithfulness and also Trusting him. How's is Uju ,David and Mama? It's been a while. Please take care of yourself .
Be like I go pack my bags come Canada. The winter season and I are not friends on a normal day but I learnt Canada carry Beyonce hand when it comes to cold but with this video, I am ready. First time here. Great video, kudos👏

The jacket is useful for fall and about 15° weather here but not for the main winter.
