Asomoy | A Tribute to Late Amar Naskar | Sidhu, Gaboo, Indra, Bubla, Prantik, Arnab & Krishnendu

It all started in Ghusuri Salkia, Howrah when three friends decided to do something unique after passing their Highest Secondary in the year 1997. AMAR NASKAR ( guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist ) RINKU NASKAR ( drummer ) DEBU BISWAS ( thumba ) along with their dream, passion, enthusiasm, courage, and love for music started to work for their dream. They formed a Bengali music band named 'TERRACOTA' which was most probably Howrah's first Bengali Band. They wrote many Bengali songs along with beautiful cords. The band started to perform in the local festivals and won many hearts. Unfortunately, every good thing has to come to an end and this band ended because of a lack of social media, responsibility towards family, and most importantly thing financial crisis that forbade the band from releasing the songs in cases. The band formerly came to an end but not the dream the band wrote many more mesmerizing songs ... which are still written in the old dairy pages kept in the attic.
Now, after 26 years and after the death of all the band members 'ROOH MUSIC' released this song in memory of all the band members especially Amar Naskar who recently died of cancer.
The name of this song is 'Asomoy' composed by the Late Amar Naskar in the year of 1997. And sung by our very own Siddhartha Ray (Sidhu, Cactus), Krishnendu Das (Canvas), Gaurab Gaboo Chatterjee (Music Director, Lakkhichhara), Indrajit Dey (Music Director), Arijit Mazumder (Bubla, Kalpurush), Prantik Sur (Singer), Arnab Basak (Songwriter & Singer). The programming of the song has been done by Indrajit Dey who has also given the tune for the last stanza of the song. All are very excited about the song and believe that this song will easily take a place in millions heart.
