    I remember my first glider flight winch launch also when I was 13 in the air cadets this was at raf west malling and I loved it.

    This brings back memories, I trained to fly Solo and even did some Cross Country in that exact sailplane many years ago! Its video's like this that make me want to get back into it!

      @@steveclackuk Absolutely, though if I remember you did spent a fair time driving around in my car with Adam!!! I miss flying very much, I live in Brazil now and while the weather is fabulous I am still looking for a gliding club. I am coming to UK next week and may try to grab a flight at KGC if possible...

      @@smax3117 boys will be boys, i guess, haha! It was very much looked after, too, i promise! I do miss the laughs and humour around the club with everyone! Blimey, you lucky thing! Julie is still on reception there, and I'm sure you could drop her a quick email. :) I was talking to Adam the other week about meeting at the club one weekend! I see prices have sky rocketed for membership, though.

      @@steveclackuk Ha ha yes, you were all very careful and it is good to do different things. Great days and I do miss them. I am still in touch with some at the club so will definitely be dropping in. Send my regards to your mum and dad and Emma. I hope all are doing well.
