Good information‼️ I’m an educator and advocate for sensory rooms in schools. Administrators and educators alike should spend a lot more of their energy in creating these spaces for learners with unique sensory requirements.

Agreed! My son just got diagnosed a while ago now and I am now the biggest advocate for autistic kids but also autistic adults as I found out I too have autism thru my son getting diagnosed his doctor was like have u ever thought of getting tested? And lo and behold I am too! If I had my needs met as a kid I wouldn’t have had so much struggle, being bullied by teachers cause they just didn’t see a struggling girl, just a defiant one when that wasn’t the case. Thank you for being an advocate for sensory rooms. I won’t stop looking for a school for my son till I find one that will accommodate him to the fullest
