@@dmerls8571 the panic is completely unwarranted when you look at the fact that after Ange's first 35 games he has more points than both Klopp and Arteta in their first 35 games. the spurs fanbase need to look to the scousers and show patience and maturity, backing their manager rather than be like the absolute impudent children that are Arsenal's fanbase that kept calling for Artetas head on a plate as he finished 8th twice in a row.
@Brzbrngr 100% agree. Well said. He's come in and completely changed the culture, making Spurs a joy to watch for majority of the season, with a side that has no right to be competing for CL. The response from the fans and Levy is more important now than when things were looking great and they were surprising everyone with the most points won in a manager's first 9 games of a season. The growth that can come from these lows and being able to turn things around is huge and is needed to become genuine regular contenders. Ange has earned the right to have the backing of Levy and the supporters. We've heard the players talk glowingly about the positive impact Ange is having on them and how much respect they have for him. That's so important for the growth that can come from the recent poor performances. He is without a doubt, the best person to elevate this club.

I think the outside noise is affecting the players, but not him. Spurs have been a joy to watch for most of this season, as many pundits have said themselves. He's not letting recent poor performances dictate how he manages his team and in the long run, that will be what helps elevate Spurs. Sticking to the style of play that brought the team success through most of the season. Ange knows there's problems that need to be addressed, and he will. This is year 1 of a rebuild. Too many ppl forget that. This team is finishing better in the PL than Klopp and Arteta managed. Why throw everything that's made the club successful for most of the season, because of a run of poor form? Stupid knee jerk decisions won't get a club who can't buy success anywhere.

What this so called football expert named Jennings says is a reflection of how he is abysmal in his job. He says that expectations fluctuate. If so, why do you set targets at the start of the season? He says he wanted Ange sacked after Arsenal game. So this means he is an experts whose analysis are based on his emotions and not some technical information. I'd say Chelsea will have had the better season. They got far in both cups and will probably finish in the same competition as Spurs with just a few points behind. Their fans will finish the season more hopeful for next season than Spurs fans.

It's no coincidence they've been patchy since November-February after Van De Ven getting injured for two months, Maddison being out for 3 months, Soloman being ruled out for the season, Perisic being ruled out for the season, Son going to the Asia Cup, Sarr going to AFCON, Bissouma going to AFCON and getting malaria to boot, Bentancur returning from a year out, Lo Celso being injured for two month long periods, Richarlison being out for two month long periods, having to buy Werner as an emergency LW and going a month of the season with a back four of only fullbacks.
It's been a disruptive season for a few teams and Spurs aren't immune to that, but they've still clearly been better than Man U, Chelsea and Newcastle this season. Hitting awful form away to Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle with a narrow loss to Arsenal in there isn't exactly a scandal less than year into a new project.

I wonder if we, Tottenham simply played as intensely and desperately as we have done after 65 minutes in the three recent games from the start of matches how our matches would go, because we would probably demolish the opposition attacking wise given the fact that we look like scoring from every attack, but of course we leave it too late and we would still concede one or two on the counter if we play Emerson at LB certainly. But instead of the Liverpool game ending 4-2 to them it would've ended 4-2 to us.

Might be the only time I agree with Rory. Spurs have spent about £200m just to finish a few more points up from last season. That's poor! Finishing with Europe was the least we could have done after not having any European fixtures or cup fixtures (after going out of both early). The fact that we have practically secured Europa with 4 more games to go shows how bad those teams below us have done, not how well Spurs are doing.
