Giggs balance, speed and agility as a younger player were like poetry with a football
His poetry though...
Giggs was the reason I started playing with my left foot!.
While you were playing with your left foot, Giggsy was playing with your old lady
@@jeffjacobson59 😂😂😂😂😂
@@jeffjacobson59 sure.
Bellingham will never touch Rooney, he'll have more Titles, more UCL's but Talent wise and ability on the ball, Rooney is clear.
Foden's won more trophies than Rooney already.
He's not as good as Rooney though.
Rooney was robbed of 2 PL title's (when in both seasons he did his job scoring many goals) and some FAcups etc...Foden's lucky to be playing for the best team in his league in a VAR era so he's never robbed of trophies.
@@FootkerSnookball Foden has 10 years of his career left still. His trophy count will likely double Rooney's by the end of it. He isn't lucky to be playing for City, he would have been long gone if he wasn't good enough.
When players win the u17 world cup and the golden ball like Foden did they can always join one of the best clubs in the world, if Foden hadn't been at City already. Luck has nothing to do with it.
Also United were easily the most catered to club by the refs during Rooney's entire career. He never had a PL robbed from him.
@@TP-pq9xx you're so thick
@TP-pq9xx Literally were cheated home&away by Chelsea in 2009/10 and Chelsea only won by 1 point and StevenGerrard needed to match fix the penultimate game because it also happened to be the first year ManUtd could have the outright most league title's ahead of Liverpool. If ManUtd had half the help Chelsea got that season because the PL desperately wanted to avoid 4 in a row which was possible pre-VAR, ManUtd would've broken a PL points winning margin record.
That's something people say without knowing any facts and always lose the debate when questioned people over hype anything ManUtd get but every team get decisions for & against but the likes of you only want to remember what favoured but even that never actually won ManUtd a trophy and if it did name them I can easily name real decisions that went against ManUtd you can look up so then it's a matter of seeing how many for and against and how many points or goals ManUtd won by and I know I'll win the debate and with VAR during the Ferguson era ManUtd win a lit more trophies than they ended up with.
What's PedroMendes known for?
Baring in mind he won a ChampionsLeague with Porto 2004 because Scholes was wrongly flagged offside when played onside by 4 Porto players, he has FAcup winners medal with Portsmouth 2008 because MartinAtkinson refereeing at OldTrafford in QF was trying to win Chelsea another FAcup as per usual but inadvertently gave Portsmouth the cup instead because Barnsley knocked Chelsea out later that day. Mendes also played in the FAcup tie at OldTrafford with Portsmouth a year earlier and he unsuccessfully cleared off the line but the goal was still not given (1of2 wrongly disallowed goals ManUtd scored that game, then lost the final due to another bad goal-line decision) yet no-one remembers Mendes for all this success he had from bad refereeing against ManUtd they only remember him for the meaningless goal-line decision that went ManUtd's way while he was at Spurs 2005 which didn't win or lose anyone anything and that sums you people up.
As for Foden as a player. He doesn't have a right foot and I just don't see him veing capable of as many different type of goals and other contributions Rooney brought.
To be honest I listen sometimes to Agbonlahor and Darren Bent just for comedy values 😊
I think Darren bent is a good pundit
Why's that Bent is decent - did you ever play at the highest level? With or against these players? Your a bod on UA-cam ffs
2 Clowns
Cundy knows all about Giggs, check Giggs goal at Whire Hart lane in 92 I think it was , nutmegs Cundy on the way to scoring,. this was Giggs new on the scene and it was pure magic to see
Really enjoyed Steve Bruce on Talksport today
Bruce’s definitely one of the best guests on TS. Very eloquent and a good story teller.
Who can forget when Micah Richards burst onto the scene. 😄
I really don't know what I'm missing with the whole Bellingham thing. Yeah he's a tidy player but I really don't see this level of praise being warranted.
As for Bruce's opinion, I don't think it's a surprise to he honest. Giggs was an incredible player at a young age. Giggs, Owen and Rooney were the standout young British players that I've seen.
Shut your stupid mouth
@@CC1984_how many more times are you going to write that ..
@@CC1984_ where did I use the word average? He's a very good player. The claim in the video is that he's going to be one of the best players of all time. That is quite a bit different from average.
Agreed
I'm more impressed with how Rooney took his chance and grabbed every game by the scruff of the neck. The class of 92 had each other as a collective and had played together for quite a while. Rooney was a man at 16. Strong, powerful, fast, great passer, header, tackler and an eye for a goal. Had it all.
Giggs would have succeeded at Madrid or anywhere else. At the time people were saying he was the next George Best. Played until he was 40 at the highest level but his personal life is why he's not mentioned. He would have been in the Hall of Fame first over Henry if he was still the poster boy.
Over Henry 😂😂😂😂
@@fonz114 yes I think the person who has the most premier league medals, most premier league assists and most premier league appearances (has been surpassed by gareth barry since giggs retired) should be in before Henry. Should be in before Shearer but he is top scorer and goals are the most important thing. It's not the football hall of fame it's the premier league hall of fame. Giggs went from being called the next George Best at United to being Player manager at 40 years old. If were talking best players to ever play in the premier league then Ronaldo should have went in first because he had the best season and won a balon dor. Don't come back and say Henry is better in his prime than Ronaldo was in his prime because if Ronaldo never left he would have smashed Shearers record as a winger.
Bellingham hype is hilarious.😂 No where near a Ballon Dor Winner.
@@CC1984_ pretty much every English print & media mate…
@@KelzMon Yes that's their job. Forget all that though, he is very good.
@KelzMon The English media can't resist, can they? They always go waaaaay overboard on the hype train.
@@CC1984_ Gareth Bale won it five times - scoring three goals in finals and providing an asist - but they always asked more from him. Bellingham faded too badly in the second half of the season for me, so I'm not going to get on board the hype-train. Those who are saying he will go on to the best player ever are very, very silly.
The Bellingham hate is just as bad.
Bruce is wrong, Scholes was the one, by far THE most naturally talented, his ability to see the game, have all the time in the world and hit the head of a nail from nearly every pass, what Giggs had most was the close skills and pace, close skill you have to work at and only a few can do it that well, Messi being another, and Beckham with his crossing, corners and free kicks, United were truly blessed to have those 3 and 2 of them staying for the whole of their time in football.
Why is ryan giggs not been talked about enough ?? Any reason why ?
lol you know why
He probably did I mean he went from being a flying winger to a creative midfielder. Giggs and Scholes Fergie named as 2 of the 4 truly world class players he managed
Bruce is the man
Nah. Scholes was the most naturally gifted player from that United team.
I'm not sure how natural can be measured but Giggs was superior to Scholes as a talent. They both had strengths the other didn't have but Giggs was by far and away the more explosive emerging player at a young age.
Maybe true, but Giggs was the only 'teenage sensation' among them
Bellingham is good but I’ve honestly never seen anything spectacular from him maybe I’m missing something
@@CC1984_so people aren't allowed to form their own opinions, they just have to look at price tags and committee votes? Why even bother watching then?
Delli Alli with better marketing
@@CC1984_ why watch a game then? You're clearly not more "qualified" to have an opinion on it than the managers. So just turn off your TV and leave it to the pros, if being objectively correct is all you're interested in.
@@CC1984_ You have any idea what Delli Alli was doing when he was Bellingham's age? Smashing Man Utd with MK Dons
@@CC1984_ Yes that's why I said he had better marketing.
Brucie on the cheesy chip this morning 🤝
It's "Nevilles" not "Neville's". Apostrophes are not used for pluralisation smh.
Ok smartass
Thanks Hermione
The Nevilles presence in the sentence is bonkers enough. Who was sat at home wondering who had more natural talent, Giggsy or Phil?
bruce is right. Giggs was best 2.0 but then got hampered by injuries.
And shagging his brother's wife 😁
People speak about young players age always forget Michael Owen. World Cup 98 as 18 year old was out of this world
Like alot of Players Bellingham being overhyped
Essentially we have a world wide talent draught. A teams system is more important than the player now
My mate was a season ticket holder. According to him Giggsy final ball was often piss poor.
Highest assist count in Premier League history 😂
It was poor for the first few years but then his decision making improved. The difference between someone becoming a great and not. Many have burst onto the scene and fallen by the way side, often due to not being good at decision making. United have young players with the same problem now, let’s see if they develop or not.
First few years yes - later he produced some legendary assists
That’s obvious most wingers are normally the most gifted players don’t mean there the best footballers but natural talent yes.
Exceptionable
😂😂
Why is this even an argument? Of course he had.
Well he's absolutely right.
Giggs is also a hell of a boxer! Just as his wives or ex girlfriends 😂
Vini is winning the balon d or, Bellingham disappeared in the knockout rounds, Media hype wouldn't win you one
I agree but the Euros carry more weight than Copa America.
@@geedub2019Bellingham’s couldn’t put in one influential performance in the champions league knockout stages lol. Spent most of the tournament running around pressing the opposition
@@larnx1692 I didn't say he did, Vini should win Balon d'Or but if Bellingham has an amazing euros who knows what could happen
He went to CM and was CLASS...People forget
I don't see Bellingham leaving players in his wake like Charlton Gaza Owen a young Rooney. Not even close to Pele maradona cruyf etc.l wonder what he would do being marked by Nobby Mullery etc mind you what would any of the current players save Mppapi do .
How’s the bacon did you say? 🥓
people forget ronaldo was 18 when rooney was 16/17
I think Rooney is really 40 lol
They were born in the same year. Literally only 8 months apart, so no Rooney wasn’t 16 when Ronaldo was 18
More talent than the Neville’s 😹😹😹 that’s not hard
"Some would say (Man United) even bigger than Real Madrid"....Really?? And I say this as a Barça fan...Man United is not comparable to Real Madrid, no matter the way you look at it...or even to Barça or Milan.
Man the English bias is so insufferable . Bellingham had a great start to our season but was pretty quiet . He's not even the best on Madrid right now . That's Vini Jr . Dude showed up in the biggest moments for us . QF, SF and the final
Man you Brits like to smell your own farts a lot
Randomly talking about scholes scoriasis😂😂
Giggs is a horrid man but was a great player. Beckham is a player I admired as he made the most of what talent he had particularly as he lacked pace.
Yes, a certain talent with his brothers wife
Talking about football here pal
Bellingham is a bang average player. Invisible in the Champs league game.
Just won La Liga player of the season, after winning Bundasliga player of the season the year before! He’s far from average, stop hating
You know someone has no family or job when they write weird stuff like this. ^
Excuse me ?
@@SteveAustin-zv1nnbit deep that mate
The only way you can say he does nothing if you only watch highlights.
He's a Segundo Volante. His entire job Is to lead the press, Provide a decoy run on the right and Allow his teammates to overload the left flank with an extra body.
The only time he's allowed to abandon his support role is If there's a clear goal scoring opportunity. This role even frees Carvajal to bomb down the right flank.
He literally stops the opposition from advancing down Real's right on his own.
Garnacho will be a Madrid player in the next 4 or 5 years myw
Bellingham doing things most only dream of. Putting older people to shame. One HAS to go abroad to show you can handle world level stuff, cultures, language etc... How old is he? 👀👀👀 Good parenting at work, too. Yeah, proper!!!!! Big up!!!!!!!
Jude Bellingham …. The best player this country has ever produced!! The press really annoys me with comments like that. Let’s let the lad grow and see where it takes him. No doubt if he has a poor Euros they will be crucifying him
Unfortunately Giggsy doesn't get mentioned that much because of his off field shenanigans keeping it in the fam.
Clearly, yes.
Ferguson said the only world class players he had were Cantona Giggs Ronaldo and Scholes
I always thought that was an odd statement. What about Schmeichel, van der Sar, Stam, Ferdinand, Vidic, Rooney, Beckham, van Nistelrooy etc
@@angrosvenor2967 compared to ferguson your opinion doesn't count for much neither does mine
@@MajorCharlesCarringtonV.CFerguson had his favourites… him and Rooney didn’t get on. Anyone knows Rooney is much better than giggs
@@angrosvenor2967depends what you consider world class. Some people say loads of players are world class. Some people only think a small amount are.
Perhaps, but I've been watching football for 40 years so I'm not a novice. I dont disagree with Ferguson on much, but I do think he is doing a few players a disservice on this. There's also Keane and Irwin, plus I'm sure a few others
I'm saying this from now Bellingham will have a terrible euros
Did he even play in the C.L final? Greatest player ever 😂😂😂
Get behind England you mess
Yes he did play in the Champions League Final😂😂😂😂
An assist in the record books for the C.L. Final will tell you, and many other decades later, that he played.
@@raypeet5777 I know he came on in the end to assist the man VinJr but I did not see him the rest of the game!
@@bensmith5288 yes we have Foden Palmer and some useful squad players like Bellingham I think we will make it to the Semi's or maybe even the final if we avoid France and Germany.
Every United player from Fergie's era who has gone into management has failed. Lol
Carrick won’t, he’s excellent and being thrown under the bus at boro who keep selling all the best players
@@capio78 He's bang average one decent season with a bunch of loan players
Yes but they won multiple titles which only City players have done.
@@JY-ev5ms nonsense he’s over achieved every year and made us play excellent football with mediocre players
Steve Bruce hasn’t failed. Neither did a mark Hughes.
Bellingham goes missing in big games nowhere near Rooney,Gazza
Giggs is so underrated these days because people look at stats rather than the player and forget he played wide of a midfield 4 rather than right of an attacking 3 where he could of scored more goals cutting in on his left foot
Think the headline should have stopped at scholes
We are overhyping Jude Bellingham
Well, yeah. What an odd reaction after the title.
Darren Bent...REALLY, Bellingham is not better than many players at the same age!! Come on, let's stop this😅😂😂😂😂😂
British media hyping their players? such a new news
Gazza is and always will be the best English players wanyne and close 2nd !! Players now are robot's
English media over hyping an English player 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can't believe the hype that is being poured all over Bellingham. It's outrageous! Yes, he's won La Liga and the Champions League, but there's a long way to go. He was poor in the final - indeed he was awful in the CL quarter finals and semi-finals. So slow down, media, and check yourself.
Giggs was the heir to best. Next was Rooney.
The overhype on Bellingham is ridiculous. He’s been missing second half of the season and through all the knockout stages. So poor in the final. He’s a good player but be one of the best ever absolutely not
We know his MAIN talent and nothing to do with football. 😏
Says a shitbag who hides behind a pseudonym
Exceptional isn't exceptionable Bent. Just use smaller words m8 😂😂
Giggs mightve had plenty talent but he was/is a monster
Rooney was the white emile heskey
The english way over hype there players, and ignore what they are playing against
Giggs was good, but gareth bale was a very good, and i was always glad he did not pick england, bale was a class player, he took wales to championships, and not giggs or rush did that.
Gareth bale was probably the best player england never had, and i was so glad he picked wales over england.
Gareth bale was better then giggs, though giggs was good, he just did not have what gareth bale had
Gareth bale had world class ability, and was wasted playing for spurs, even he could not make the tottenham, that joke side into winners
But if i was to pick one player who could of played for england, and england missed out on, it was gareth bale
He was class, he was proper world class, at a level that english players do not normally reach, and i was just glad he picked wales over england
Ryan giggs was good, but not as good as gareth bale
Wayne rooney was typical english media hyping average players
Wayen rooney was just the white emile heskey, and i knew he would only last a few years, as he had a real weight problem, like gascoigne
Gascoigne was englands best player, and gareth bale was best player england never had, that could of had.
Gareth bale was ryan giggs on another level
If you do not win with gareth bale, your just rubbish, and spurs proved that even though spurs had gareth bale, they still failed to win anything. They are a joke of a club, and always have been.
No way is MBappe is the best player in the world. The guy is a grifter.
Bellingham is good but nowhere near a Rooney gazza or a giggs yet
Mainoo will eclipse Bellingham
Thank you, Captain Obvious. 😆
How is Bellingham better than Rooney. English delusional media 😅
Giggs has destroyed his legacy with his off field behaviour. Backstabbing his own brother to that degree... He's the chris Benoit of football.
Right yeah because he’s a murderer isn’t he? Stupid comment - talking about football here
What a ridiculous thing to say you absolute moron
Giggs didn’t kill anyone you tit
The Neville's in that sentence is as useless as the apostraphe
Didn't even mention Beckham 😂
He did
George Best was way better than Giggs.
That’s not the discussion though is it?
shame giggs also had the most natural talent for being a horrible human being
Jude hasn't done ANYTHING in 2024 , he hardly touched the ball all the knockout Europe games ... he's been rubbish last few games for England....
Palmer is a better player for England than jude.. the jude hype will ruin England
Bellingham is overhyped like all English players mainoo is going to better than him
I dont know about scholes but definitely more than beckham and nevilles
Yeah Giggs should be the King of Manchester but he is not because of his deep and toxic personality flaws he is the ghost of Manchester now
Here he is again, can’t keep his trap shut. Is he complaining about the injustice of not being the England or Man Utd manager ?
WTF are you on about? He’s a guest on the programme talking about football
