the way i’m literally on the season finale right now 😭😭😭 i read the books years ago when i was in like 4th grade and my memory of it is GONE so watching this show was such a funny experience 💀

Spoilers:
What I like based off me reading book 1.
1. The teasing is teasing instead of the boys just ragging on her.
2. Steven is not as big of a jerk.
3. Cam and Jeremiah because I love nice boys.
4. Some development with Conrad but hate how the author/show pairs Belly with Conrad. Ugh!
5. The addition of Cleveland being a father figure for Conrad: not in the book.
6. The moms’ friendship is so fun and wholesome.
Is it just me or is it wrong to hate Conrad when it comes to Belly. Why does he always wait for her to be in a relationship with someone else to confess his feelings.
I get Jeremiah was a little late for their dance, but hate that Conrad stepped in to save the day and show his feelings when she and his brother barely dated. Jeez! And he is a jerk to the girls he dates and likes half the time. Hate this trope.
Belly was embarrassed and anxious she needed him to save yhe day i would've wanted it to happen too like i dont want to be embarrassed infront of hundreds of people
When u said Conrad gave off Jonathan byers vibes he kinda look like him
The show is actually so cute. Just gives you the butterflies like when you were in high school with and crushing hard on someone. I binged it after i read the books (fyi, TERRIBLE in comparison to the show) and it feels like a comfort show or thing you put on when you want to chill
