Yep. I absolutely love this. My favourite thing to do when I'm feeling down about art or feel like I'm burnt out or that I've gotten worse or I'm in a slump it always helps to redraw old pieces. Never fails to make me feel better and get me out of the mood.
What stands out most to me is how much your understanding of colors has grown. Also, I think this is my first time seeing your videos. Incredible linework!
Your background game really improved and I think it adds so much to the pieces :D Not sure it it helps or you tried this, but it might be helpful to look at the pieces in grayscale to push the contrast where it's needed to improve readability :D I personally always feel like I didn't improve or got worse, but redrawing or reimagining old pieces shows so much of what has changed. I tried this in the past and I made one grave mistake that pulled me down so bad: Once in a while one makes a piece that is faaar over the normal skillevel and basically a happy accident. If one tries to remake that about a year or so later and fails to match the quality that is so disheartening

thank you! 💫 (also enjoy your stay, we have pasta 🍝)
It's always fun to redraw old art, not just to see the improvement but to also to be added in stories
Wow!
The improvement is definitely noticeable!!
thank you! ✨
