Wow, good episode review discussion! It's interesting that you guys liked this episode because some deemed it the weakest one because it didn't seem to be connected to the main plot. Shame on you for lewding MaoMao's referral! She was telling that man to see her father if he ever feels ill! I watched this series' reactions on two pharmacists' channels & they both said that lead poisoning was cause of the father's death, so Terence was right. If lead in the makeup could kill courtesans, concubines, & babies, surely years of exposure could cause death for a man.
That's dope that some pharmacists checked it out. Definitely would be curious to see their feedback. And it was a good episode! And it does actually connect to the main plot a few episodes later does it not?
@Reanimatedyt yes, the way this metal worker mystery was connected later on had some of us thinking he was murdered instead of dying from overexposure to lead.
