    In most games if you see the game state change you assume you're getting somewhere, and follow that hunch. Not the case in baba is you. The fact that NL blindly accepts these wrong leads is part of why he's so bad at this.
    edit: he did better this time though

    • @NihongoWakannai
      @NihongoWakannai 5 років тому +3

      @My Cat's Breath Smells Like Cat Food because he doesn't actually think through his actions. He's brute forcing things by just doing all possible actions and any change in the game state is seen as good because something at least happened.
      It so often feels like he just doesn't ever sit back and actually think about anything beyond his next move.

      @My Cat's Breath Smells Like Cat Food yeah, no way he's finishing this game if he's struggling so much on easy puzzles.

    There were several puzzles where Northernlion missed the obvious (from my point of view) solutions but solved it in a different way. I was so mad because I tend to think there is only one solution to puzzles. He just kept making moves that went against that solution. However, he somehow pulls a backdoor win out of his pocket and places it onto the table, and I'm just left standing there thinking, "How the hell did you get that? The location of this info is forbidden knowledge. It doesn't even show up on the legendary map of logical problem-solving."

    This is pretty fun. Trying to solve every puzzle before NL can figure it out with the handicap of not being able to test things by moving stuff around. 100% win rate so far. Ok, kind of hard when your solutions are different than his so you don't know for sure if they'd work. Also "we have to be able to push this rock", if only you could "PUSH" that "ROCK IS". I can't believe he can say a solution out loud and still not get it. Then he basically solves it a different way (removing one water just in wrong row) and still fails to see it.
