I swear no hate but i’m pretty sure the lego characters are just edited on top of the characters or transformed the characters into the legos because he got the movement exactly right, but I know this took a long time to make so props to you mate.

I can answer that: the characters are not simply “edited” or “transformed”, if that was possible everyone could make animations like this within a couple hours. He probably used the trailer as animation reference, so that’s why it looks so spot on.
