      Thank you!!
Nate at Dirt Lifestyle did a review of these as well and covered but only different but a lot more than i really have the capability to test on it, and his review / comparison also has some great information.
If you haven’t already watched that one or want to see even more on these wheels
His end conclusion was different than mine, but i don’t disagree with his reasoning

how fast does it grind things flat? Does it grind hot welds really well? How about stainless? does it make a groove well? I weld power poles, and my job restricts cutting wheels of all things. Not even really expensive ones, like, they limit workers to one cutting wheel per week, and they are the cheap ones. You make really good points, and I'd love to see if I can use this to replace my cutting wheel, or maybe even my grinding wheel if it does good enough.

Hey, thanks for the comment and questions.
It grinds pretty decently, and now that you ask that, i really wish i had included that in my video to show how it grinds compared to a flap disc… might make a part 2 now… haha!
But it’s a flush grinder, so it’s a bit better for blending stuff down. If i have a lot of grinding to do, i prefer a flap disc, and flap discs have a little “give to them” so you can push them into what you’re grinding without bogging down the angle grinder.
BUT! It will obviously last longer than a flap wheel or grinding disc will. I don’t really use any grinding whees, just cutting discs, flap discs and this.
I would also recommend checking out Nate’s video at Dirt Lifestyle. He did a video on this same disc and covers more than i covered and different things and has a different perspective on it.
But, since i bought this, I’ve gone through one cutting wheel and this is still performing like new, and they do honor their lifetime warranty on it, so it’s a “buy-it-once” kind of tool.
I’ve never worked with stainless, so idk that i could give you an answer there.
And for making a groove. This might just be me, but this disc seems to bite and kick easier than a cutting wheel, so yes it can make a groove, but not the same as a grinding or cutting wheel. Not as “smooth” i guess?
      Hope that answers your questions!
Man… looks like I’m gonna have to make a second video on this! Thanks! 🤣

And if you want even more, check out DirtLifestyle’s review of the same disc. He covered some different areas than mine and did some deeper dives into certain things. Also his production quality is leaps above mine

What is the kerf like on the cut of the bad dog

@@jamieweiler9620 i had to look up with “kerf” was 🤣
That is a good question. It is wider than a cutting wheel, but because the bad dog wheel has the diamond abrasive along the side it does a good job of keeping the cutting edges pretty cleaned up.
But while a regular carbon disk is a very thin cut line, i would say this is maybe “twice” as wide.

I never switch discs to clean up a short cut like that, the cutting blade does fine. If Bad Dog's warrantee didn't require you to pay for the shipping I'd be somewhat tempted to try it.

@@DonziGT230 I’ve never thought to use a cutting disc to clean up a small area like that. 👍
Shipping for the disc isn’t much, but you could buy a few cutting discs for the cost though.
I will say this, and i can’t renderer if i really covered this in the video because i did short cuts. The disc does a great job of cooling itself, but once it and the material you’re cutting start to heat up on longer or “bigger” cuts, it stops cutting so well.
You gotta pull off and let it cool for a couple minutes and then go again. That’s just for longer cuts though. But because of that, if I’m doing something thicker or longer, I’ll just use a carbon disc
