"Mama Can't Help You" Doyle Bramhall II | Live at Chicago Music Exchange | CME Sessions

- Doyle Bramhall II (db2music.com) served up a spectacular Texas-style jam alongside his longtime band right in the CME Showroom.
Ever the in-demand musician and producer, Bramhall has shared the stage with Eric Clapton, members of Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Double Trouble" and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters. However, the lefty (who prefers his axes right-handed and strung upside-down) delivered his own gritty band of good ol' fashioned rock 'n' roll-an exclusive peek at his new album "Rich Man"-right in front of our famous Les Paul wall!

....that's how a Strat shines in front of a wall of Les Pauls
Doyle has been in the scene for years!! Those who dont get it..will never know real rock blues artists!! He's awesome!!
My favorite Doyle song.
Doyle rocks!! Awesome! Bring back Arc angels as well!! Cheers!
All these beautiful guitars distract from the music. My eys were just wandering around ;-)
Saw Doyle Bramhall II last night in Durham, and it was an amazing, inspiring performance. I love this.
Well there’s a lot of Mamas boys in these comments.
CME rocks! Same goes for the staff! (Drew Kavanaugh nice intro!) And Doyle, one of the few current artists that is steeped in real music through inspiration, respect for, and clearly having studied music of the 60s and 70s. And the way he writes and his band plays the music is of the highest quality.
tremendous
Genius.. Damn Doyle ☮️✊🏼🎸👑
Doyle kicks ass.
My favorite guitarist and the greatest band mates. I dear sir , totally get it all , tones, amps and love your comment !
We can talk Doyle, era and tours any times.
Hats off Ted ,

Awesome video... hope you post more!
Wow... 15 people who clearly don't understand songwriting, chemistry, great lyrics, tight band, clear cut individual style and most importantly - GROOVE! maybe Kenny Wayne Shepphard fans??? : /
Talkin bla bla bla. A real follower of Mayer´s music knows to recognize all that, if John is left over. In any case, who doesn't know how to recognize a great guitarist and musicians is you. With that closed mind, not to say ears covered too.
I see lots of critique here in the comments about the mix. I don't see many close mics on things, maybe one near the kit but none on the backline. I'd say it was room mics maybe bolstered with vocals and something near the low end of the kit, not a studio recording. Personally I kinda like it, it's more or less what you'd hear in the room.
Doyle Broomhill
super toll
Alright now. Ted! Badass bass player
yeah Adam Minkoff on guitar support!
I want to park there with a truck and take everything I can get my hands on. :D
I wonder what's gonna be if he performs with Eric Gales. Perhaps they did it somewhere...
Yeah he already has and said he thought there were limitations to playing upside down...until he saw Eric Gales haha. Both killer players.
Didn't know Howard Stern plays guitar!
Geez, is that a Les Paul store?
♫♫♫
Is that TJ Miller on guitar?
This is a great tune. Unfortunately it’s such a poor recording…the room just kills it.
wehre is this CME Showroom
?
The only reason this has thumbs down is the sound is not right...his vocals are too loud..great song though
not one brother in the band. WTF?
Chuck Stark They are ALL BROTHERS!! What the fuck is up with that stupid ass statement?!?!!
The drummer is black, not that it matters either way.
Chicago music exchange has a horrible return policy. Please do not purchase from them.
Not gonna lie this dude kinda reminds me of these modern “blues” guys who take them selves too seriously and are kind of a joke like Joe Bonamossa
trying to get the appeal behind this guy, dont get me wrong im hapoy to see hin do good. But i remember interviews with clapton raving about this guys years back in the 90's. Singing sounds pretty average, from what ive seen, his guitarplaying is good but not mindblowing? not critiquing, just curious about his succes
No respect for the MF word or the the big mouth !
Sounded like a crappy Lenny Kravitz
Uninspiring and boring music, I feel like I've heard millions of songs like these.
I agree... his other stuff is pretty good and he has a unique style for sure. Check out Time live at the great wall and Saharan Crossing is awesome. His Robin Trower bluesy ones like Smokestack live at great wall and People are pretty groovy too.
Rick Sanchez Fortunately...his music will never be as boring as your uninspiring, lame ass comments
trowerz Christ, how can anyone take anything you say seriously when you have a naked girl censored by weed as your profile picture?
you have heard millions of songs like this, at least you've got the balls to say it. What new stuff are you listening to?
doyle is a great talent, even if you only count Arc Angels. Every song doesn't have to have a mind blowing solo. He played what fit to the song.
Boring.
fuck off jealous bitch
A group of 15 year olds in a rock band could’ve done it better..this was not good
