To anyone interested, here is a public template I made of the document featured in this video, featuring an extra section to the right that lets you keep track of head-to-head versus opponents you play often. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PaQAUBYdVBOBR2ZTQzy4UetHKyZXiUH6A-HAluoO6DM/edit?usp=sharing
Dude you make sick videos, always really helpful / really practical stuff. I would kill for a video on how to properly analyze a match. There are lots of match analysis vids on youtube obviously but a video on how to properly analyze a match and draw accurate conclusions about whats happening in the match would be extremely helpful. Like what kind of stuff should you be looking for in the match - Why analyze your recorded matches? What can you learn - How to properly analyze neutral exchanges? How do you know you're accurately interpreting the exchange and why things happened the way they did? How do you know you're not reading too much into the situation - Outline a basic process for analyzing a match with categories of information you want. It probably sounds really dumb but sometimes its hard to even know how to digest what you are seeing when reviewing a match. I think a roadmap for how to watch and learn from a match would be sick
+Andrew Kyrouac I may do a video on recovery game some day, but I'll need a partner for that and my homie has been busy, so we will see. But if I did an analysis, I could certainly go deep in depth on recovery in several situations per game.
I'm no Marth master, but here's a tip I've seen from Marths like PewPewU (probably the best Marth at recovery): use your side b as you would normally, DJ when you're spaced to up B sweetspot ledge, side B ONCE more, then up B and grab ledge. It's a useful mixup, but can be read like any other recovery - so other mixups like using the second hit of side b, using neutral b, or DJing and up-b-ing normally can be used in conjunction. YMMV
Just something to point out, lots of your games on dreamland are vs Marth, so I'm not sure if the data is reliable. Love your videos, I hope you share more of your holy Marth knowledge :D
please more marth advice /tutorials i have a hard time against captain falcon sometimes if hes good i need to win against captain falcon more often please
+SomethingAzn Tutorials on Marth specific techniques, Marth practice routine stuff, harder Marth trials, self match analysis, or top player match analysis?
You know how you show your document on stages and whatnot in this video, could I get a link to that? I don't want to use yours, I would just really like to use the template for my own :)
+Adam Farmer Here is a template I made. It is based on the one in the video, and has a rival section to the right for keeping track of head to heads with players. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PaQAUBYdVBOBR2ZTQzy4UetHKyZXiUH6A-HAluoO6DM/edit?usp=sharing
Townes Buford I figured it out, thanks though. I actually am having trouble with something, but it isn't related to that. So with L-canceling Marth's air attacks, I'm having trouble canceling his down air, any tips?
+MegaFatcat100 Practice doing the dair rising, at the top of your jump, and right before you hit the ground. You'll probably find the timing easier on one of those, so get good at the one timing and then apply it to all other dair situations. It's not hard just practice it frequently and keep track of your consistency. If you get 3/10 L cancels now, just try for 5/10 next time you practice.

Thank you so much for the template. I also found a slight error, O5 should be f(x)= E54/N5 not E55/N5

Griffith did nothing wrong
I'd really appreciate you doing some more fox videos, though I know he isn't your main
Do a video on Marths recovery and how to change it up and throw people off please :)
Or on Marths neutral
+Andrew Kyrouac I may do a video on recovery game some day, but I'll need a partner for that and my homie has been busy, so we will see. But if I did an analysis, I could certainly go deep in depth on recovery in several situations per game.
+Townes Buford (ippossbm) +1 for the recovery video request! Anyway keep it up man.
+Townes Buford (ippossbm) pls do marth neutral though

The stages are a myth-crush

Do you even know what "holy" means?
please more marth advice /tutorials i have a hard time against captain falcon sometimes if hes good i need to win against captain falcon more often please
More Marth please.
+SomethingAzn Tutorials on Marth specific techniques, Marth practice routine stuff, harder Marth trials, self match analysis, or top player match analysis?
Townes Buford Maybe matchup guides or analysis. I think you've covered almost all Marth tech already.
+Townes Buford (ippossbm) Matchup guides would be pretty awesome.
Could you also make some more sheik tutorials?
+MeshTheSnake Yes
Thumbnail?
griffith is the reason i play white marth.

+Adam Farmer Add me on Google I think, and I can make it shareable.
+Townes Buford (ippossbm) Okay, I've followed you on Google+, what now?
+Townes Buford (ippossbm) I would like to do something similar, if this is not an outrageous request.

+Peter Dearnaley uhh.... thanks but Ippo already gave me his one, and it has been really helpful.
Maybe ZeroByte2001 will find your template helpful.
Can you make your playlists public
+MegaFatcat100 All of my smash playlists are public. Are you having trouble viewing something?

Townes Buford awesome, thanks a lot, it's sweet that people like you are helping others instead of being jerks on the internet.
No problem asshat.
