Seochon (서촌) is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Jongno-gu in northern Seoul, South Korea. It translates as "West village" or "Western village" as it is west of the Gyeongbok Palace. It is also thought that the name could have derived from Mt Inwangsan as the mountain used to be called "Seosan" or "old mountain in the west." Seochon is traditionally associated with the Joseon dynasty and Korean literature. opening in 2005, has become popular among residents and tourists.

Tongin Market is a traditional market in Tongin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Established in 1941, the market originally catered for local needs. Today it is home to around 75 stalls and shops such as sit-in restaurants, take-away street food and vendors of every-day goods. The market is located at 18, Jahamun-ro 15-gil, Jongno-gu in Seoul.

서촌이란 동네이름은 많이 들어 보고 TV에서 자주 보곤 해서 낯설 지는 안는데 어떻게 생긴 동네인진 자세히는 몰랐는데 영상을 보면서 세세하게 알게 되었어요 상당히 잘 꾸며진 동네네요 보고 좀 놀랐어요.

Thank you for such an amazing video. I came across your channel yesterday and I subscribed straight away. I live in London and for the last few years I have been agoraphobic, this has been really difficult to deal with, before that I did a lot of solo travelling all over the world, then I got really ill. Although, watching your videos makes me feel a little anxious and panicky; I really like them, it’s feels like I’m walking with you, I also like that you stop to go into shops, stares at things, etc. To all the agoraphobics out there; One day we will get out and see some of these amazing places again. Don’t give up on your dreams. Thanks for the beautiful video.

내가 어릴때 살았던 옥인연립을 영상으로 보게 될줄이야..그것도 살던집앞을 찍으셨네요.ㅎ 영상에 나온곳은 대부분 어릴때 놀던 골목길들입니다. 지금은 예전보다 적막해진것 같네요. 서촌이라고 부르게 된건 얼마안된 동네입니다. 옥인동 누상동 누하동 효자동..그냥 평범한 동네죠.
