🌙 The magical atmosphere of Istanbul does not slow down even during Ramadan Feast! Our walk, starting from Eminönü and around the Galata Bridge and the Golden Horn, allowed us to capture the excitement in the heart of the city. In this atmosphere filled with the abundance of the holiday, as the streets of the city were filled with people, I felt the history, culture and human texture of Istanbul more deeply.
Ramadan Feast has a special importance in Istanbul. This sacred period makes the city even more vibrant and colorful. While wandering the streets, it is possible to encounter the smells of different flavors, listen to people's cheerful conversations and taste traditional tastes. While mosques are overflowing during iftar hours, the streets are still standing and lively at sahur time.
During our journey from Eminönü to Galata Bridge, a mosaic in which the historical texture of Istanbul and modern life were intertwined was revealed. Galata Bridge is one of the symbols of the city and fascinates its visitors with its history and view. The streets around the Golden Horn make you feel the spirit of old Istanbul; you forget how time passes while wandering through the narrow streets.
