Hey there. I just found your channel accidentally while surfing UA-cam for lessons on Good Times, Bad Times. Lucky me!!! Based on what I saw today I gotta say, I love your teaching style = slow and methodical. I also like (at least on this lesson) that you use a clean setup for your guitar and amp. Other instructors generally setup their equipment to try and emulate what the original record/concert sounds like and your way is much easier to follow and digest. (I still can't figure out how to play "Nothing but a Good Time" because of my inability to duplicate C.C. DeVille's sound.) I routinely watch a number of different online gurus and have purchased a few online courses as well but based upon this one lesson, I already think you are the best! The way you teach is so easy to follow - simple, slow, and clear; and like I said, I really appreciate the clean undistorted sound you use to demonstrate the material.
Awesome, thank you. north east Scotland. Ramble on with super smooth bass line. Highly recommend everyone seeing Robert Plant & Saving Grace on tour right now. Fantastic set from the legend.
Hi Angela, I just got done playing my guitar for a couple hours and not really enjoying it. I just saw your lesson as I was putting my guitar away. I had to put down my favorite best friend Keno, I had her for 12 years, sob.
Great tutorial as usual. I saw you with Zepparella last night at Sony Hall. It was such a great surprise and you sounded great with them! To answer your question: there are so many great riffs to choose from, but my favorite is the opening acoustic part from "Ramble On."
By the way, you mentioned Celebration day from ‘07… I was there! I was fortunate enough to actually get tickets. Definitely one of the most memorable days in my life!
Good job....favorite Zeppelin tune is You Shook Me a great Blues Rock Jam........also how about Good Times Bad Times by the Stones sometime.....thx for all you do here
