    Right... I'm offended. How dare that principle not recognize the risks of NOT treating food prep like bomb disposal! Has he never had high school cafeteria food?

      Sounds as bad as UK school dinners - my condolences. 🤐

      @@marten3451 well most people don’t really know how to use good mashed potato mix or is it real potatoes you’re talking about in my school most of the time my high school most of the time does not have a cafeteria. They had a little addition on the other side of the school of school was on one side. It was on the corner mind you this is more than 40 years ago, the school has since gotten its own premises so it’s no longer in a factory. I guess that’s what you call it old factory maybe anyway that particular high school was called an alternative high school. Let me tell you the food we got was the same that was served probably at other schools. the difference is that ours was prepackaged, but that meant is you could choose from a hamburger or sloppy Joe’s and if you were the kind that didn’t eat meaty food they did have a vegetable option which was mashed potatoes or french fries and I forgot what else but you get the idea I don’t know if there was salad and if there was, I know specifically which vegans and vegetarian probably got first dibs on those long story short I remember her making up the mashed potatoes. The chips were the easy part. I called them chips. OK I have been overseas for so long and french fries are called chips where I’m at so I called them that it doesn’t help that I’m married to a guy who’s British so on top of all that with both the place I live in calling them chips and my spouse calling them chips. I call them chips now instead of french fries is I can still see her after 40+ years and we’re talking. It’s closer to 45 maybe years I can still see her really nice lady easiest great I ever gotten anything making up the mash only one time did she really regret having me not be there and wishing me to be back and being her assistant, and that was when her new assistant made the potato mass catch fire you know mashed potatoes.

    Answer the question as to who teaches combat techniques to librarians I can answer that question you see I am technically a librarian and I learned my techniques from my Korean vet Holocaust survivor father who was also a French underground Courier among other things as the child of his old age I can assure you that I learned a great many things and passed it on to my students and I was just a librarian....

    Any decent Military High School,[AROTC,AFROTC,NDCC,NROTC,MROTC,],would in the 1960'sand 70's,be that operational! Everybody learned to think on their feet,and were mentally prepared for practically anything! Even now,umpteen years later,you'd carry a Swiss Army knife,for Just in Case! Thank you 😇 😊!

    As somebody who worked as an assistant with the lady who was the cafeteria lady in my high school it was one of those extra credits you could get doing something kind of work with somebody that whether it was the secretary the gym teacher whatever to see if you would like to go into that field eventually and well it was easy great and she was really nice so I used to get all the extra sandwiches like the sloppy joes and while I save them for a certain canine who really desperately needed them I can tell you that yes they stick to everything including your ribs and they were very useful if I would have had to deal with some aliens they were spicy... Well some of them were, those were the once I didn't give the doggo... And then there was the kid I went to high school with and my freshman year before switching schools because of what happened in my previous school I was transferred to get away from having taken out the head of one of the worst gangs and so they thought it would be better if they search for better school for me because in high school they were going to try to do the same thing until the certain kids showed up and trust me he carried a comb that also doubled as a blade I don't know how else to put it a switchblade I believe it's called it's been a while I mean it's more than 40 years but anyway the kid in question call every female ma'am and wanted to go into the military I think he did manage to get into the military I just never saw Jesse again... I doubt anybody from that high school. Even remembers me. I'm using voice to text it does not punctuate the way I would punctuate it does not spell things the way I would spell things it doesn't do anything except hopefully get the gist of what I'm trying to say down I can only hope that it's doing that and that that makes sense unfortunately I have no control over my fingers anymore it's why I'm using voice to text and what's called an incomplete quadriplegic.

      LOL. Sorry to hear about your affliction, but, if you want to put some aliens in therapy, we could make them read that mess. Fortunately I also like romcom manga and am used to the twelve and thirteen year olds who are too lazy to type using speech to text. You're much easier to translate because unlike them, you at least have coherent thoughts.😆

    • @RayRatchford
      @RayRatchford 2 місяці тому +1

      Major respect for not stopping while incapacitated. As for punctuation, spelling etc, you DON'T apologise, that's the job of the AI and speech recognition bods who're letting you down again. Rock on.

    • @safiremorningstar
      @safiremorningstar 2 місяці тому

      @@michaellinnet6095 yes but I sometimes get very frustrated and sometimes I’m writing at 2 o’clock in the morning and the pain I’m in is at its worst. I don’t have the use of my fingers not manual dexterity anyway not without putting myself in even more pain so I’ve been told to stay off the writing this coming from somebody who is once an author so you can imagine how difficult it is for me to even look at my own work when voice to text doesn’t punctuate doesn’t spell correctly don’t go there just don’t go there.

      Ah! But were you specifically looking for it? I'm betting it's well concealed from random passers by. Next time you're in that neck of the woods maybe you need to look a little closer. Best take a ladle and some seriously interesting kitchen utensils with you though. You never know if you will need them. 😅😂

    • @garygough3158

      @beccabbea2511 I'll have to look for the tomb of the unknown hitch hiker too. When I got there is was told "This is a horrible place. I've been here for three days and I have not seen a car!". So I started walking and after two curves and maybe two km, there was no road ( highway construction ). Caught a ride on a grader and was in Revelstoke a few hours later, actually pretty good time.
      I wonder if the school would be near the old internment camps?
