One thing I really find baffling in this day and age are the many erudite scholars deriding other deities and undermining their importance. There is only one Supreme Being/Divine One and that manifests itself in different names and forms. All routes of worship eventually lead to the one and only Divine One that can be called variously as Kali, Rudra/Shiva, Narayana, Lakshmi, Ganesha, Surya or Subramanya. They are all one and the same Ultimate reality. I sincerely wish for people to look at it this way and not have needless arguments within our own religion as to who is superior and who is inferior etc. Any constructive criticism is most welcome.
