Fun fact, Hyper Sonic as a character mod is pure luck. When the game loads a model, but cannot locate a texture file, it flashes the untextured parts of the model in those rainbow colours. Hyper Sonic mods are as simple as tweaking texture files so that all of Super Sonic's fur textures are on a separate file, and then deleting those files so that when the game loads Super Sonic, it can't find the files to texture his fur, so as a result the game will flash the fur rainbow colours.
