You are my girl!!! I just bought my slow cooker and your the first channel I came to. I've been wanting a slow cooker for a while. So I checked out your channel months ago. Yay so happy u did kito
Thanks for another great crock pot video, Kelly. I just want to say how much I admire your strength and tenacity in keeping your You Tube channel going while going through such a rough time over the past year with some life changes. Even with those changes you still are so positive and professional. Always a pleasure to watch your channel.😊
Kelly : I know I say this in all of my crockpot videos -brown your meat ahead of time & freeze it to have more dump and go options.... Me: GIRL, KEEP SAYING IT! There’s someone out here still freezing raw ground turkey, beef, chicken and sausage! Your channel has blessed my life with that tip!! 🤗🥰😍🥰
These recipes looked SO GOOD. Definitely adding them to my list of things to try. I’d love to see some more healthy meal ideas. I’m trying to get the motivation to lose weight again and I’d love some inspiration.
I've noticed personally that Philadelphia cream cheese is the only one that melts great into meals in the slow cooker. I've tried a few meals with regular Philly and then store brands (Great Value and another store brand from Northern Wisconsin).
These are some great recipes. I just wanted to mention that you’ll want to be careful about snapping the lid shut while cooking. Those are really only for travel, and if the pressure somehow gets too high inside the crock pot, it could end very badly.
@@tarynngoodwin Besides for travelling, those clamps are also a precaution measure for little kids. Just in case they accidentally knock the lid off and burn themselves. But I get what you're saying.
I bought my 2nd crockpot in October and there was a warning to not lock the lid when cooking, only use locking system when you are transporting the pot and mine does have a little vent hole.
Taryn I always say this on videos, but people always comment it’s fine with a vent hole, blah blah blah, even though the Crockpot instructions (and website) say DO NOT LOCK WHILE COOKING, ONLY WHILE TRANSPORTING... I just try to warn people, because they will explode, but most people don’t
that is an awesome idea I would buy a cook book as well.....all those look good may have to make it for my husband and see how he likes them. thanks for the ideas.
Thank you for these great recipes ! I really appreciate your channel.I have health issues with my hands & mobility & this helps me to be able to sit and prepare healthy meals.Thank you!!!
Can you do a video about transitioning from 1-2 kids and 2-3 kids. how it’s been? things that are different? something you struggle with having 3 kids so close in age! etc ☺️
Hey, Kelly! I just love your recipes! Can’t wait to try this one, especially the one with the eggs. I do scrambled eggs with milk, and onions and green peppers for breakfast sometimes, and every now and then for dinner. Can’t wait to try this with spinach.
For the Tuscan Chicken - I use a slightly different recipe but I've also changed it up a bit. I substitute the chicken breast with boneless & skinless chicken thighs (they remain SOOOO juicy & flavorful) and for the spinach I substitute Kale. I don't put the Kale in until the last half hour when I crank it to high and let it wilt. So creamy & delicious!
I just looked at an article on the science of cooking and another article on cream cheese which is saying cheese most cheese needs to be room temp before cooking or it clumps. A lot of people were saying it was the brand. I used Publix organic and 365 organic and let it go to room temp and did not have a problem.
I’ve used the great value cream cheese before and it always melts just like yours did no matter what I try. The Philadelphia always does what it’s suppose to do.
I buy the liners in bulk on Amazon, and they are a fraction of the price when compared to my local market. They are not Reynolds but I honestly can't tell enough of a difference to make it worth the cost difference. Can't wait to try these recipes!
@@KellysKorner08 Honestly, I just go to Amazon, search by 4+stars/prime and then look for the cheapest per liner, and I've gotten different brands over the years. Most recently was Regency Brand, on a lightening deal, I got 24 liners for $7.99. (about 33cents each). I looked at the Reynold's ones at my local grocery store and they were almost $1 each! I live way out in the boonies...My cost of living would double if not for Amazon Prime.

First time hearing you. Living out here in L.A. where the factory settings on a woman's voice are set to "complaint" mode and they don't even know the recipe for boiled water--- a southern woman who can cook sounds like another planet to me.
I know this is kind of off topic but I forgot to ask it in your last video. How is it adjusting to having a toddler to also having an infant? I have my 2 year old and my baby.
On the Tuscan chicken did you not have any issue with the heavy cream separating adding it in at the beginning of cooking? Mine did just wondering if it’s just me. I wish I’d waited till the end.
@@KellysKorner08 thanks kelly.. single girl here so wouldnt use it that fast I also try and make freezer meals for mom. so wasnt sure.. also wondered how it would work if you froze again after using it in a crockpot meal.. thanks again :)
Off brand cream cheese doesn't melt right no matter what you do. I've had this problem many times that's why when cooking with cream cheese I always go with philly.
I make a similar taco soup all the time and I can never get my cream cheese to melt all the way. I don't know the secret. I have tried letting it sit out, tried using the name brand, nothing seems to work
Taeee Bae I think a lot has to do with how hot the base of our slow cooker gets. Some just seem hotter than others. I spray my crock pot instead of using liners. Have to clean it but it’s fairly easy. I’ve never had luck with liners.
Carolyn ‘Carye ‘ Sellito that’s what I’m thinking. My crockpot is brand new I got it for Christmas. I like it just is too good right now. 🤣 I’ll try again in a few months

100%. For soups you have to do name brand and i still let it soften :)
Yep, was the store brand.
I know! Isn’t it strange about the Philly cream cheese??? I have tried with a few other brands. No go. I won’t by any other brand.
Store Brands taste gummy to me.

If the crockpot lid has a vent hole, it's fine.
That’s true, but I’d still advise anyone using those clamps to be extremely careful. It’s just not worth the risk of injury to me.
