DK was correct, Typhus DID sell out the Death Guard to Nurgle literally when they were on their way to Terra. In terms of the heresy books, it's literally the last one before the siege begins.
Yeah, I remember that being what made their fall so shocking even to their own allies. One minute the Death Guard were normal, then they show up to Terra and suddenly they're all plague marines.
No saying your wrong, just wondering when did this happen? In terms of what happened before they jumped into the warp and Typhus betrayed his legion? Because I thought Angron was the "last" one to join chaos as a Daemon primarch (also Pert technically is the last one since he supposedly becomes a DP after thr Iron Cage which happens after the siege of terra)
Lorgar also ironically didn't ascend till around the same time Peter Turbo did. Magnus first, then Fulgrim and Angron around the same time, then Morty on the way to siege Terra.
@@worldeater2414 If anything, Angron was the *first* one to become a full blown demon primarch. An Important thing that is never brought enough when it comes to his fight with Dorn: Sanguinius rose to his feet, arms wide, wings rippling. ‘Fulgrim’s departure is a great prize, still!’ he cried. ‘Great Terra! Fulgrim got deeper, and faster, than any of them so far. Excess was his undoing, as ever. The brazen confidence of over-strength. He threw his whole damn Legion into a space too small.’ Dorn shook his head. He smiled at the Angel sadly. ‘I tell you this plainly, brother,’ he said. ‘If the Warmaster or the Lord of Iron had ever managed to harness him, he would have won this for them in a matter of days. He could have been their greatest weapon.’

To answer DK’s question if the Emperor’s Children could have won at the Saturnine Wall. The answer is yes and no as Answered by Dorn himself. He states after the fact to Sanguinius that if Horus or Perturabo had actually been able to control Fulgrim they would have won in days and all the defenders including Dorn would be dead. "Sneaky Snake goes dancing, a-giggling and a-kissing..." "and when we are not looking, he's stealing all of our beer!"... who knew Tom T. Hall was trying to warn children of Fulgrim back in the 80s?
Ngl, I wish Fulgrim became the final boss for the eldar. It would bring a whole more purpuse for both factions and it would narratively evolve one of the oldest grudges of the setting (slaanesh X the elves). (also, the idea of Fulgrim fighting all the Phoenix lords is hype af)
The best part of the Fulgrim and Dorn fight in Saturnyne isn't Dorn at all, it's Sigismund being an absolute lunatic of a marine and trying to solo a daemon primarch by himself. He does shockingly well before Fulgrim smacks him into a wall and Daddy Dorn shows up to give the bad boy his court mandated ass whupping.
You know, bringing all/most of the primarchs back could work, IF they Come Back Wrong or at least Come Back Permanently Changed. They come back as a shadow of themselves, the worst version of themselves, or puppeted by demons. There’s still some essence of who they were, but they will never be as they were; a great height they will never reach again.
Thing is, there's some where that would just not be as enjoyable as others. If Vulkan comes back but he's now more like his more pragmatic brothers. Or if Russ comes back and he's just depressed and spiteful and doesn't care. It would piss quite a few people off.
I mean, Guilliman is deeply depressed due to the state of 40K Imperium and The Lion, while more matured, has aged considerably and he's not as good of a fighter as he was before his weird coma thingy, so already we have 2 primarchs that are not in great shape in different ways. Yes, they both got some cool new stuff to compensate, but the point stands, so I'm guessing GW will do the rest the same way, give them new stuff but in exchange something's wrong with each of them (I mean, we already know that when Corvus returns to the setting, it will be as a demonic birdman, so the sky's the limit)
Vulcan and Leman Russ are probably on the horizon. I would love to see the Corvus Corax Raven/Warp Thing creature for one. Not sure how they’d go about Sanguinius or Konrad though.
I don't necessarily think that "broken," is the correct way to go, but instead that they are on the other side of their major hangups. Johnson came back slower and humbled, as opposed to paranoid and turbo genocidal. Guilliman has become depressed, yes, but Moreno because he is being forced to accept the death of the dream of the imperium, and how he must play warmaster instead of statesman. With the other primarchs, you would habe to have them exist as responses to prior flaws and greviences. Corax seems to be either a response to warp-waryness or him going from stealth stalker to a full hunter. For Russ, I'd imagine he'd be more agreeable and reined in. "Tamed" instead of "leashed" if that makes sense. Dorn I could imagine being a little softer and more introspective. During the siege and a little after, he had admitted his fear over knowing that he is fallable, and his failure as the praetorian, and defender of the Emperor. As such, I could imagine him being less willing to move, and a little more open about his feelings on matters. Don't do a thing to Vulcan. It won't end well for any of us.
If the imperium does get in a position where they can get the sword from Fulgrim I like to imagine in the last moments before they get him he just gives the sword to a bunch of orks and watches as they turn into scrap metal
Saturnine is legitimately my favorite book in the Siege of Terra. That moment when Dorn springs the trap is so good, and the Fulgrim fight is just the cherry on top (of the wall).
Dorn beat Fulgrim 1v1 Sanguinius is easily #1 The Lion is an S tier duelist That at best, makes Fulgrim a #4 duelist Also Not only do snakes have a backbone, their primary feature is a very long backbone that travels nearly the entirety of their elongated body. It's impossible to get more wrong about that 😂
So what you're saying is lucius is eventually going to fight fulgrim and he will eventually reform in fulgrims body adding his immaculate visage to his armor ?
@twinphalanx4465 unlikely since the curse is a blessing of slaanesh. I guess Slaanesh would have to chose which champion it likes better. Fulgrim or Lucius. My bet is on Fulgrim in that instance
@Southerly93 while I knew that. I just like the idea. It's kinda the only way we could get rid of lucius make slaanesh get rid of him cause Fulgrim ain't goin nowhere
@twinphalanx4465 if i was writing the downfall of lucius, I'd make him fight someone totally unafraid to use a melta grenade on him at close range so the last thing he realizes is that he won't survive a noble sacrifice
I can’t wait for the rematch where Fulgrim fights almost kills Gulliman again. Then the Lion comes in with the steel chair and beat the hell out of them. That would be a great way for Gulliman and Lion to meet.
What about Fullgrim tryinng to get to Gulliman and finding the bridge empty, except the Lion and some of his Unfallen? As a little reversal of the first duel, where Gulliman payed for his pride?
I think of all the dead Primarchs, Ferrus Manus would make more sense to bring back as they can give him an actual character instead of being a walking plot device. And him leading the Legion of the Damned could be cool, as he seeks vengeance on Fulgrim
@@Leosucksatgames125 What about Sanguinius, Kurze and Omegon/Alpharius? GW can't (or at least, shouldn't) make them do a "My death was greatly exagerated" type of thing.

I’m pumped for round 2 of Fulgrim vs Roboute and to add some extra meat to it, have Bobby G getting knocked down and about to be killed again only to be saved by either Yvraine or the Lion. It’s a good way to give the Eldar some of the spot light or to finally get the reunion between the brothers
I really like the idea of fulgrim sending a box of chocolate to congratulat guiliman on each of his victory just to keep him from feeling good about himself
Fulgrim's 30k model feels like an elevated human, while 40k Fulgrim falls perfectly in line with the rest of Slaneesh's art direction: all demons are described as beautiful, but the actual models are evil, deformed, and gross. It's still beautiful in a way, but you can see something is clearly wrong. I interpret this new model the same way Bricky did: it's Fulgrim being fully consumed by Slaneesh and loosing even more of his identity to his patron.
Fanfiction alert! I like your tinfoil hat theory very much, and I'd love to add Guilliman to it, because of their shared history, and Yvraine memes. Imagine if Guilliman went there, not with the purpose of killing his brother and fulfilling his revenge, but instead swallowed his pride and went to fight Fulgrim with the only purpose of getting that sword back for Yvraine, and then teleporting away. I believe there wouldn't be bluer balls in the universe at that point.
23:43 that is vanity. A person can be proud of a job well done with out getting a pat on the back, a vain person needs to let the world know he did a good job and then be told they are great for it.
It'd be so cool as a concept for Fulgrim to have the last Crone sword. Make it a problem for the Yvnari and Guilliman, maybe a gambit to tempt Guilliman to turn against the Yvnari or vice versa.
GW brings back Dorn and Ferrus, but in the same fashion as the Triumph of Saint Katherine where we get a funeral procession of Dorn’s hand and Ferrus’ skull
I'm predicting and also pulling for Curze to come back via the Drukhari flesh crafters. I imagine they would trade significant things to get the remains of a Primarch. And if memory serves, there is a finger of his somewhere in the current setting. This would also really help the Drukhari army as they don't have a big centre piece model or unit other than Vect.
As I see it with primarch level models for the legions with dead primarchs Nightlords - Skraivok as Painted Count for chaos/ Some sort of redeemed Night Lords force Iron Hands - Ferrus Manus clone or Super definitely not AI Dreadnaught using Ferrus' body Blood Angels - Sanguinore Dante Alpha Legion - Omeagon (True Alpharius)
If I remember correctly, petty Perty wanted Fulgrim to siege the gate alone because he was hoping Fulgrim would die in the process because Fulgrim tried sacrificing Perturabo. Wounding Perturabo to the point he had to turn himself into a daemon primarch after the Siege. Could have been reconned after the new Siege of Terra books so who knows
If Konrad Curze is in a spirit stone, then he could potentially control a flesh suit. Imagine this: The Night Lords make a flesh statue in his image and put his crown on it. Just to have it come to life and scare the shit out of them.
I think that Ferrus could come back, and I would think Fulgrim would probably have something to do with it. Not out of regret or the like- See, before his fall, he and Ferrus were super tight. Like, the tightest bond out of any of the primarchs, if I remember right. So, I think Ferrus would have told Fulgrim about his worries about his legion, and wanting to rid himself of the necrodermis on his hands. Nowadays, I could see Fulgrim setting things in motion so the Iron Hands take Ferrus to the Keys of Hel and have him resurrected through cybernetics, turning the Gorgon into the very thing he wanted to prevent himself and his legion from becoming
In regards to which primarchs should come back and how: I think both Perty and Dorn should come back at the same time, and each one is inside their own giant dreadnoughts that are literally just Knights.
You know what would be better then Fulgrim having one of the Crone swords, him having a sword that looks very much like the crone sword but is not one, the ultimate tease for both the fans and Aeldari thinking that task is done only for the sword to be a cheap replica and not the actual thing.
The history nerds had their time. Now it’s time for the animal biologists to crash out ducksmoke

Fulgrim: “I’m a sneaky snake”
@@cappinjocj9316 Collective fear of "The Night Haunter" strengthens his warp presence, then Tzeen/Khorne/Slaan brings "him" back
Fulgrim's face be looking like Chemos therapy.
Is that what they're calling a virus bomb to the face?
@@AngryHomunculus
I mean, with how messed up his hair is now, he might be balding after that virus bomb
If the imperium does get in a position where they can get the sword from Fulgrim I like to imagine in the last moments before they get him he just gives the sword to a bunch of orks and watches as they turn into scrap metal
Fulgrim: “Daddy's home”
Dorn; Yes, hes sitting there in the palace for a while.
The Imperium: Protect your butts!!!!
"Baby girl... Daddy home"
*Turns into a snake man
21:05 "CUUUUUUURSE YOOOOUUUUU, DOOOOOOOORN!!!"
said Fulgrim calmly
Saturnine is legitimately my favorite book in the Siege of Terra. That moment when Dorn springs the trap is so good, and the Fulgrim fight is just the cherry on top (of the wall).
i recently started listening to the podcast and you guys have single handedly helped me through my exams
Didn’t Fulgrim transform into snake boi at The end of Angel Exterminatus when he ascended to Daemon Prince?
Yes
Correct
Dorn beat Fulgrim 1v1
Sanguinius is easily #1
The Lion is an S tier duelist
That at best, makes Fulgrim a #4 duelist
Also
Not only do snakes have a backbone, their primary feature is a very long backbone that travels nearly the entirety of their elongated body.
Dorn said after his fight with Fulgrim that he would have lost if Fulgrim actually focus and commitment to the fight.
"I'ma thnaake~ i'm a thlippery lil thneaky thnaaake~"
-Fulgrim, Probably
I think of all the dead Primarchs, Ferrus Manus would make more sense to bring back as they can give him an actual character instead of being a walking plot device. And him leading the Legion of the Damned could be cool, as he seeks vengeance on Fulgrim
Wdym all the dead primarchs? Hes the only one thats dead
@@Leosucksatgames125Kurze, Sanguinius, Alpharius
@@Leosucksatgames125
What about Sanguinius, Kurze and Omegon/Alpharius? GW can't (or at least, shouldn't) make them do a "My death was greatly exagerated" type of thing.
@@davisdf3064 ok i wasnt counting sanguinius cause like him not being dead would ruin the entire point of the blood angels
Are alpharius and omegon *really* dead?
Also completely forgot about kurze cause imma be fr the nightlords are rlly forgettable

From what the books told us, one of the borthers, either Omegon or Alpharius did in fact die.
But i wouln't really mind if they somehow brought him back.
The 10th edition CSM codex has a bit in it about Kurze where it VERY CLEARLY retcons his death and makes it so that he's still alive.
Aye his soul is in that diadem thing.
HERE COMES THE BOYYYY. Hello boiii...
Welllcoommmmmme
Welcome ....
I’m pumped for round 2 of Fulgrim vs Roboute and to add some extra meat to it, have Bobby G getting knocked down and about to be killed again only to be saved by either Yvraine or the Lion. It’s a good way to give the Eldar some of the spot light or to finally get the reunion between the brothers
the new Fulgrim looks like his body's less like a snake and more like a lamprey. He even has the gill holes.
Throne! guys read the siege of terra books
The spongebob ref make me laugh
40k EC have always had black armor with pink spots. They fell hard-hard
I'm with Bricky. I am all for that new model. It looks like an actual demon!
" who needs daddy's belt? "
Rylanor*raises hand* "try me, i dare you."
@Cpt.Str4ng3 "oh fuck that's a virus bomb ... OH FUCK THAT'S A VIRUS BOMB "
the goon snake returns
Well Fulgrim also got a small supprise blown in his face
@15:40 THANK YOU!! Praise for Dorn, least dislikable Primarch... as being devoid of personality IS his strength
Damn dorn really hit the fallout endgame speech check with that burn on fulgrim
The Snek is back, baby. He even has a new blanket.
This is existing and I hope you do the sons of malice space marines legion next time and continue your wonderful work and have a wonderful day 👍
Isa and koda put it best. He looks like an old rockstar.
While I really don't see the appeal of the new EC range, it is nice to see the community just wholeheartedly enjoying the new releases. 🎉
21:48 bro what are you talking about snakes are all backbone lmao
Frrrrr wth is this misinformation 😭
Technically any color scheme works in lore with emperor's children that's why they're my favorite legion to paint :D
Another fantastic episode! Honestly so much fun to just listen to your antics while learning the lore
Typhus selling out the death guard is literally the last book before SoT
Rylanor's virus bomb treatment went wild for Fulgrim from 30k to 40k look. Lol
"Just like a snake no backbone" * looks at list of vertebrates and sees snakes* yes, no backbone.
Traitors at 100% strength: Horus, Magnus, Angron, Perturabo, Lorgar, Fulgrim, Konrad, Alpharius, Omegon and Mortarion
Traitors at 95% strength: Perturabo and Mortarion
Traitors at 60% strength: Perturabo
Fanfiction alert!
I like your tinfoil hat theory very much, and I'd love to add Guilliman to it, because of their shared history, and Yvraine memes. Imagine if Guilliman went there, not with the purpose of killing his brother and fulfilling his revenge, but instead swallowed his pride and went to fight Fulgrim with the only purpose of getting that sword back for Yvraine, and then teleporting away.
I believe there wouldn't be bluer balls in the universe at that point.
23:43 that is vanity. A person can be proud of a job well done with out getting a pat on the back, a vain person needs to let the world know he did a good job and then be told they are great for it.
talking about dreadnoughts, perturabo coming back in an dreadnough with soulgrinder aspects thanks to Vashtorr would be metal
Papa Smurf is not a dualist. He is logistics master. He's the nerd of primarchs.
As I see it with primarch level models for the legions with dead primarchs
Nightlords - Skraivok as Painted Count for chaos/ Some sort of redeemed Night Lords force
Iron Hands - Ferrus Manus clone or Super definitely not AI Dreadnaught using Ferrus' body
Blood Angels - Sanguinore Dante
Alpha Legion - Omeagon (True Alpharius)
Sanguinius and Curze need to stay dead. Ferrus coming back almost feels necessary because there isn't a lot to make him interesting.
I can't wait to see the myriad of kitbashes of 30k and 40k Fulgrim. Gonna slap.
It may be time for the sequel to "What's in Trazyn's Vault?"
"The Many Temptations of Bobby G, by Fulgrim"
The new EC line looks so good!
I hate that GW has forgotten about Doomrider, he is my favorite emperors children character 🎲🎲🎲
If Konrad Curze is in a spirit stone, then he could potentially control a flesh suit.
Imagine this:
The Night Lords make a flesh statue in his image and put his crown on it. Just to have it come to life and scare the shit out of them.
Once we Finally reach a stopping point with all Warhammer Lore, Bricky needs to make another podcast where he teaches DK about SpongeBob.
LET'S GOOOOOO!!!
Now, call Rylanor for another roasting
Sanguinius actually is active in the warp, and interacted with Dante and Mephiston
How i picture Fulgrim returning is basically quagmire coming outside after finding out about internet porn
56:50 lol Curze will never comeback at that point if he is indeed in an "Eldar" soul stone
A Dorn dreadnought would be mental. Still waiting for Vulkan though, the free hugs primarch would be a fun addition to 40k.

Bring Curze back, he needed to have vindication. Bring him back as an explicit FU to his stance that the future is fixed.
Dorn, gets bitten by fulgrim with deadly poison. Dorn;" and i took that personally, he died after 3 days."
nurgle got the mortarion while on the way to ulinor for the final push to terra if i remember right
You know what would be better then Fulgrim having one of the Crone swords, him having a sword that looks very much like the crone sword but is not one, the ultimate tease for both the fans and Aeldari thinking that task is done only for the sword to be a cheap replica and not the actual thing.
