That's her way of saying I don't have a plan.
Asking someone what their plan is to avoid cost overruns on transit is a backdoor way of shutting down our transit system. Transit needs to be expanded beyond the budget that is currently allocated for it so trying to go below budget will deliver an inferior product for the people who need it most. Kirk Watson wants to hand your taxpayer dollars over to private developers... When's the last time that lowered the cost of housing?

Unfortunately, we have our own Dr. Oz in our midst. Celia Israel moved back into Austin in 2021 so she would run for Mayor. She was ineffective as a state representative. She rents a condo so that she can run for office but she owns two homes. Her words that she is hurting from rent increases ring false.
She doesn't live in those homes they are rented out. That doesn't make you not a resident.
She's been living in an unincorporated neighborhood that's still closer to central Austin than other parts of Austin. She just bought a new home (so now she has two) which is presumably why she says "between homes" as she may be looking to sell her house just outside of the city limits.
This is random, but if Austin got rid of more homeless people at a massive scale, wouldn't the cost of living sky rocket? Scary thought.

Celia is a nice lady, but is not a serious person.
