Call me crazy, but i think that's what the author had in mind at first, but because her fanbase kept attacking her to redeem john, she just had to make John good again, ever since season 2 part 2, John's been labelled as the villain for following the same rules and hierarchy that everyone follows, but in reality he's a victim just like the rest of them
Is unordinary still worth reading, I see that it's always in the top 3 and top 5 most popular webtoon series in the webtoon app and website, I dropped it in 2020,during the safe house arc, do the characters finally apologise to John for what they did and does John apologises to them as well, or is the violence in the school still happening
@@erenyeager7693that is true, I understand john has to apologise to claire and adrion in new Bostin, but it's weird that the author MADE him the villain and makes John apologise to the other bullies in unordinary, that's not how redemption and forgiveness work, no one has truly seen John's perspective, except seraphina and William, that's it, unless the author will fix this in the future, but I doubt it😂😂

The thing is, this is a horrible matchup as John can't copy Kim's abilities and has to rely on others for abilities. While Kim would find John a tough opponent when John has abilities to copy.

No, i think he has about a 3 ability limit, and they wear off after a while as well
From whats been seen in the Webtoon so far, it does not seem that John can keep or remember the copied abilities he's seen. However, in recent chapters, it has been hinted that John is able to remember abilities he is familiar with.(Currently though, John does not seem to know how to recreate abilities, and it only happened in a really desperate situation.)
@@harleysellers86the limit is 4 abilitys and you cannot copy very complex abilitys or abilitys that you cannot see with the naked eye (such as Seraphina's abilitys)

Kim solos with little to no effort, he has a goddamn dragon in gis arsenal. Kim can destroy cities easily and in the last chapter he got a power boost as well.
Arlo's shield can stop a Dragon's atrack, especially when he boosts it.

That's a wild one, I would assume Kim would win, though.
Jhon is strong af but he can only copy abilities. Kim can copy the abilities of any living thing (aside from plants). The kids from Unordinary can punch through concrete, but kim fought a dragon l, demon lord, and species on par with him. Jhon is smart, but he tends to be hot-headed at times with his combat. Kim spent a whole episode undercover in order to complete his objective, he went so deep into the role that he made himself forget that was his original purpose in order to blend in better.
Also, as long as kim eats and has reserves of flesh, he can constantly regen any limbs. Also, his ability works on people, too. If he eats people, he could probably just take their abilities and use multiple at once.
This is me assuming these guys met at full power from each stories.
If this is taking place in just japan and Kim has no access to stuff like dragons, manticores, or myhtical creatures, it's fair to say Jhon would destroy him
As an unordinary fan (I haven't read the other one)I have to say that Kim would mostly win because this whole fight depends on so many variables but if they are fighting at their best then Kim would win. Johns weaknesses is that he can only hold up to two or three powers at a time. He doesn't even keep them, they wear off after a while. Johns biggest weaknesses though is that he can only copy abilities of people nearby and that if they used their powers (if they don't use their powers then john can't copy them). So all Kim has to do is get rid of people nearby john before they use their powers or isolate john and wait for a bit or do both. Also if john was able to copy Kim's power he still lose due to the fact that John doesn't eat exotic animals

If Kim tries to drink John while he's in water form then John can just pull an antman and expand inside of him
His stomach isn't exactly inside of him it sort of leads elsewhere and whatever is in there will probably die
Well as much as I love John from Unordinary, he's pretty outmatched out here, can't seem to remember much but i think lizard or dragon skales were very resistant and defensive after dragon vs dragon fight, not mentioning he consumed some origin/old dragon so 2 dragons at his arsenal, and without proper availability to copy abilities on spot while Kim keeps and carries all of his abilities, this looks like John getting 200% over of a beatdown to a point where it wouldn't be a fight anymore, and maybe eat him too XD

Also he have limit of abilities he can save. Also he can fight without abilities too, make him more harder since the best way to fight him is to not use any abilities.

John currently has a 4 ability limit and can’t copy abilities unless he’s near the person while Mr. Kim can have strengthened muscles, regenerate, create multiple heads, breathe fire, breathe underwater, coat himself in slime that’s heat resistant, and at any point he could just eat John. That’s not even mentioning him tanking and quickly regenerating from an explosion that destroyed part of a city or the possibility of him calling upon G.O.D.D.E.S.S. at any time to get an eldritch horror to eat and gain the powers of. I love UnOrdinary and John but this is not a close fight, it might be a difficult one but Mr. Kim wins.
The last part is the nail in the coffin. No mortal beats love craftian cosmic horrors.
This calls for a DEATH BATTLE!

i think john takes this win by copying seraphina's ability and the barrier one he could also keep hitting him with a laser beam or ice anything that has a strong damage
I assume you haven't read IGSTMIE. The truth is, Kim with half of his powers can beat anyone in Unordinary 1v1, with his full powers he can conquer the entire Unordinary world easily
People are arguing about who would win between John and Kim, But I think Sera stomps him.

John's power is better
Kim literally has access to the biology of an eldritch being of existential horror-
John has a limit of what he can copy and cannot store abilities. Mr Kim has a vast store of animals from Earth and the mythic beings from the fantasy world which include dragons, hydras, giant dinosaurs with multiple hearts, the Saintess and the former hero. Mr Kim also got the skills from the people and animals he ate. Mr Kim STOMPS John into the dirt.
John gets fucking destroyed here immediately. Unless he copies some friends’ abilities beforehand he’ll just get deleted. Kim can perfectly replicate and harmonize the body parts of ridiculously powerful creatures meanwhile john is doing all he can with 3 abilities. He’d need one ability to either be arlo’s or a type of body reinforcement because he’d get squished instantly otherwise. Seraphina’s and blyke’s ability would also probably be of use to him. If he went up against kim with all that…he still loses.
John with marksman+laser+teleport makes him pretty much unbeatable: marksman let's him stay locked on even if he's nowhere near the target and let's him find and aim for specific weak points, teleport is in fact not limited to eyesight John can teleport to any location he's been before and then laser just does a lot of damage (Blyke's laser can go through steel and Johns version Is much stronger) but when paired with marksman can change direction mid-air making it impossible to dodge.
So here's how the "fight" would go, John locks on to Kim, John then immediately teleports away into one of the many secret locations he's been to before and then starts raining down intercontinental death laser at any and all of Kim's weak points, either killing him immediately because he doesn't know the fight even started or forcing him to stay in slime form but then the moment he tries any other form except slime he'll die instantly.
With Kim's last power up, here's the updated version of how the fight would go: Kim activates his love craftian eldritch horror consumption abilities the moment he realizes a fight is going on. John is left with no chance of escape from a fate beyond his human comprehension.
If you read both series you would know john cant even damage pet shop in the first place its not even a close fight
