I grew up with many dogs and I have had 7 of my own, I am sure I was Blessed because not one was bad. But I do believe owners need more training than the dogs. Sadly my Brok died in April 2023 and I am still mourning him, but I have his brother Brad. I can take him anywhere without a lead, take bones away, get him to drop and leave. We are a partnership, but with me as the top dog. Love your show Graeme, so nice to see you teaching the owners. But, too many people buy a puppy because they are cute, without realising the work required to have a lovely but obedient dog. 🙏🙏❤❤

Graeme: "No, 'cause that would be weird, right?" He couldn't help himself being ironic...

I love how Graeme emphasizes the importance of calm praise and clear boundaries. I’ve been watching Graeme, Cesar Millan (Dog Nation) and Victoria Stilwell (It’s Me or the Dog) and they all have a shared message: the humans set the tone by exhibiting calm confidence, clear boundaries and PRAISE. I’m working on incorporating these practices with my most amazing fur baby, Toby, a mutt of the ToTo, Tramp persuasion 😊and I’m seeing real time progress every day.
Thank you Graeme for helping us be better parents to our beloved babies (same applies to human babies-lol)

I think they missed one point about Monty. He's out of shape. Don't take him for an hour walk nonstop, he'll just get tired and will tart resisting. Go for five minutes and rest for five, then go for another five... After about three days increase it to six minutes and so forth. Out of shape people are told not to overdo it at first, the same is true for dogs.

So sad to see an overfed dog. The poor animal doesn’t know the consequences.

How did this start with Monty? I get bribing a dog with treats, but cake? Not bacon, not chicken, lemon drizzle cake.

It's so obviously the owners that have the behavior problems! (Social media doesn't help.) The title of this show should be changed to "Dog Owners Behaving Badly!"

That bloody dog kibble is bad enough without adding sugar to it. My dog s live on diverse raw foods. They live long, bouncy, disease free lives.

I totally agree with taking Monty swimming. It was what he was bred for, it's instinct for him. However getting him to the water could be a problem. 🙂

Finally! One of my favorite episodes of this program! All the dogs here are unique (and cute, specially Monty and Trip) and the way Graeme solved their problems alongside their owners was amazing!
Ps. (The case that I identified with is Talullah's aggresion towards children, as in my family we have a Yorkie Mix that, because of my smaller cousins playing a bit rough with her during her puppyhood, she got reactive towards kids(barks at them like Talullah, but luckily doesn't want to attack them). Now we can try the techniques Graeme had done with Talullah to calm our dog with the presence of children...)

The issue isn’t that she makes him breakfast(I’ve seen kibble fed dogs that are just as bad) he wasn’t trained or socialized as a pup. I had a Great Dane and they get messed up if not socialized and trained.

They figure out very quickly that their size will allow them to be dominant. And they will be unless firmly corrected, and early.

It is always the problems with the owners who fail to train their dogs. They should learn how to be dog’s owner b4 owning a dog!! Be a responsible dog owner pls

The grade Dane is a bit aggressive coz he is a young boy.. After several years he ll stop to behave like that..
My standard poodle did it, now he turned out to be 5 years and he became more calm.. He is a perfect dog at home, playing with kids.. Sleeping all the time, don't desturbe anyone.. But outside of the house he is also aggressive, wants attack every single little dog.. But when u say stop, let's go
He calm down and move along side with me

I'm sorry, but Talulah'a case is sinful. Her owner should give the money to dog rescues or shelters instead of buying her dresses and cars, and maybe invest in some therapy for herself.

WTAH is wrong with these dog owners? I have 3 dogs and they would not dare act like this. I have had other dogs before and that never acted like this. Quit spoiling your dogs. I love my pups they are my companions but no BS.

The food which owners offer for dogs are not healthy... Milk, cream.. Dry food..
I cooked for them portiage with rice, backweet, meat.. Without salt and sugar
    It's poison 💀 for them
By the way owners mixed dry and wet foot which is also goes bad for abdomen of the dog..

Very little explanation, very little praise, absolutely nothing on dogs psychology, only take control in battle. Very manly, very sad. There are other ways.

@M Hell Ash: Gosh, I didn’t see any examples of “manly battle” or “little praise” at all! The dogs were praised when they behaved, they weren’t smacked or receive any physical punishment. Re “little explanation”, I felt Graeme explained to each owner what the approach to their problem would be about. In my opinion, I think he does a great job. I see no aggression at all … unlike some prior dog-training channels from the past.

Graeme explains to the owners that they’ve praised or comforted their dog at the wrong time which encourages them continuing the bad behaviors. He tells some they need to stay calm when the dog behaves badly and that their panic prolongs the situation. He asks them to speak in a calm and low tone when praising for good behavior in order to differentiate from a corrective command like “Off” or “Leave it.” Graeme gives tips to them when they are practicing the techniques. The majority of these owners have given up and allow their dogs to do whatever they want. He demonstrates to the owners how to insert and assert themselves in changing their dogs unwanted and often dangerous behaviors, if that what you mean by taking control in battles.
