JJ Rawlings or JA Kuffuor would have done something about this if it will take the lives of all those involved in bringing down the business of the young man cos this will break the hearts of all young Entrepreneurs. In my opinion, don't move the goats and trust me, they will not be able to attack your farm.

Im lost for words. Here is a gentleman developing farms, commuity and jobs and development. But it appears that chiefs want to remain in the primitive dark ages. And are jealous of progress.
If the farmer was an Abroni, would the chiefs reacted/ behaved the same? This is annoying

This is a lessson to famers or to-be farmers. I wrote it as a comment on farming for Africa page. Some environments don't support development. It happened to me few years ago. The farm i bought, one of the villagers actually came to tell me to be prayerful that he has someone my age as a son that their village doesnt support progress. I told my parents to remeber me in prayers and i was praying and doing all i could. 3years plus, very low or no success. People need to do feasibility studies before buying farm land. tho its a bad news, He should be happy they asked him to move out and his animals are not dieing without any reason. Africa has those diabolical believes. Some environment dont support progress.

For our goat operations: we can significantly REDUCE our operational costs by letting the goats free-roam in our land. Let them feed themselves. As the animals are very healthy, then we don't even bother with vaccinations. We can minimize human labor costs, too. The goal is to SIMPLIFY all operations to its most bare bones need. Unfortunately, the only way you can make this work is to have access to larger swath of land. However, our goats operation is NOT our main focus -- we mainly need the feces and urine as FERTILIZER for our main cash crops: durians, avocados, and papayas. To our EYES: the feces and urine are MORE VALUABLE than the goats.

From that 300 50KG sacks of chicken fertilizer as FERTILIZER -- this would EASILY increase our HARVEST (from avocados, durians, and papayas) drastically. As such, the GOATS are primarily as SUPPORT at our farm to maximize our main cash crops. To ensure SECURITY / PROTECTION: that's where our Dobermann Dogs and German Shepherd Dog come in to keep wild animals away and keep thieves away.

There should be something he can do to stop that ridiculous evacuation especially due to the fact that he purchased that land for value.
