Queensland is cursed. Beautiful waves, weather and warm water comes with a cost. Constant snakings and drop ins. I don't think I'd wanna surf there regardless of how beautiful the waves are.
I’ll never forget the day I heard that Kirra had been ruined. A national treasure and my dream wave as a kid growing up in Hawaii. I know it made a comeback but will it ever be as good as it was in the 80’s?

Love the middle section of this video the music, the wave head on filiming and omg the big guy at @15.07 is total vet at this spot. He is one with this tube. Wish more surf vids could be filmed from this perspective. I must have watched the middle of this 100 times. Well done and the music is unreal and well suited. Ty.
Rad waves but the crowds would do my head in! I think I'll stick to South Africa, freezing cold water, a few big predators lurking, nice quiet line ups.

I just got out of the surf in south africa thinking it was crowded but compared to this the line up was it relatively empty:)

Would dig seein another version of this too.
Regular speed with slow and pause on the occasional highlight.

That place was the most frustrating place to surf ever. Everyone is grumpy and snaking eachother. Thankfully there are like a 100 good spots all within 10min from eachother up/down the coast

Ironic that 90 percent of everyone in the water probably drove past two or three world class breaks to mince it out in a crowd porridge. I’d say half didn’t get a wave. Really cool footage all the same, cheers
