- Now this was an epic ride through and through, probably the toughest I've ever done, for real. And this was after I had already ridden both Ophir and Imogene Pass, so I was pretty tired to begin with and not exactly ready for such a difficult road. It was so tough that even my GoPro corrupted some of the best footage, missing two of my three crashes on the day. It took me a while, but I eventually got over losing my best GoPro clips because there was still so much good footage to see.
I finished Poughkeepsie Gulch and then made it over Hurricane Pass on my way back to Silverton. I had to edit down nearly 2 hours of riding into about 12 minutes, so sit back and enjoy this one! Be sure to stick around until at least the 3 minute mark - where the road starts to get really, really tough, and the crash at 5:20! - Спорт
great riding video hit the like
Nicely done, thanks for sharing! Those are some of the most idillic trails anywhere... I've ridden most of them on a 990, a few on my more recent 1190, and a 701 is on the way so I'll have to try them out with a bike like yours, can't wait!
Dude, you're killin me, even with the struggles. I need to rethink my stable of vehicles to make room for another DS moto...
That part with all the loose rocks is hard as hell. I've done something like that up north west of Fort Collins near the Poudre River. I dropped my BRP a few times but kept hitting it. Great views great video great riding.
Hurricane Pass looking down on the lake is probably my favorite view in Colorado.
That was a nice surprise for sure.
I got tired just watching that. When you dumped it I was like - shit now what. I can't imagine the arm pump after a ride like that.
There was some serious resting going on between clips
Awesome too! 😍 Do you need mixed tires or enduro tires?
I use DOT tires with the biggest knobbies I can find. Like Tusk D-Sports, or Motoz Tractionator Desert HT.
