About Me: Hello! My name is Erika, I am a wife and stay at home mom. I created my channel to keep busy while I learned to navigate life as a SAHM and to give myself accountability to get things done around my home. We recently moved from Arizona to Texas and downsized (2800 sq ft to 1200 sq ft). I've documented our downsizing journey from the beginning starting with decluttering and getting rid of over 50% of our belongings. I'm not an expert, I am just sharing our journey, along with my thoughts and struggles I encounter in the process. Now that we are in our new space I will be sharing with you how we get settled and organized into a much smaller home while maintaining a sense of minimalism. Being minimal is the only way our new home will work for us. I hope you decide to stick around!

When I hit hard spots of clothes decluttering, I pull together ten outfits from my closet. Clothes I really feel good in. Tops and Bottoms. Then I pull five dresses that I love. I then look at everything else with clearer eyes. Enjoyed the video.
Thank you! That’s a great tip. I’m really thinking of tossing a lot more out because I’m trying to figure out my style these days. I’ll probably move towards a capsule wardrobe with clothing I really love. It’s been a process around here 🫶

I have 2 pair of shoes, 3 nightgowns, 4 blouses, 3 pants, a sweatshirt, 3 dresses. I have no where to go so that's about it. If im home, im in nightgown. 😂. But we all enjoy different things in life. My momma loved hats and cardigans. You're doing a great job and the people receiving your donations will so grateful.

Great video Erica. I find when I declutter that if I fold all the piles (donation,maybe etc) and sort the hangers as I go, it makes it less stressful as although its a lot of stuff at least irs tidy and also easier to move if I need to stop ans come back to it another time.

I struggle to get rid of some things even though I know I haven’t worn something in a long time. I always say that I can use them to workout. Lol. The struggle is real.
Hey lovie!!! I’m in the process of doing the same just because I’m more so on the path of a new look. I have so many clothes I say I will fit one day. But I’m just tossing that idea out the window. I need to learn to love me for me and my outfits don’t define me. U did such an amazing job. I’m proud of you. ❤ ugh love just a friendly advice Sears is not the way lol. I deal with so many complaints from Sears members. But that’s honestly amazing u got it fixed!!! Yaya!!!! 🎉
Thank you love! Yes, we change and evolve as women and I’m learning it’s okay to change our styles as we go. Unfortunately no one else in town had the training to fix this particular part 😢 AND yes you are right, they suck because we had to call them back to fix what they didn’t install correctly 👎

Buy a new fridge.
This fridge is very new to us. With home warranty it cost $0 to replace the broken part. We just had to be patient 🙂
