If I apply for renewal and book my ticket to India with my old passport, will I need to have my new passport with me as well while travelling? Or will the old passport be sufficient till expiry ( assuming new passport will have a new number )?
Hi, if you see this, please help me with this information. I'm a student in canada who recently renewed her lost passport. The bew booklet did not come with the visa stamp. My course still has a whole month to end. Should i wait and apply for TRV straight or am I supposed to send my booklet for stamping at IRCC. Im very confused as to what my newxt steps should be as there is little to no information present on the internet. Please help me out here🙏
you can wait for your course to end (knowing that you won't be able to travel out of Canada to come back without stamp) and when you receive your work permit you can apply for TRV as per my suggestion.

Hi I followed all steps by step but at step 6 when I entered the expiring date it showing error - this one - -You have chosen reason for reissue as 'Validity Expired within three years/Due to Expire'. Accordingly, a date between '28/08/2021' and '27/08/2025' can be specified as Passport Expiry Date. Check Passport Expiry date or choose a valid reissue reason. Mine passport expires in 07/09/2025 😢 why this And if I enter other date before expiry it forward to next step
Ideally you should be able to select your expiration date of passport, maybe try again later refreshing or clear cache on your browser or maybe call them.
Those days changing everything so I was doing it early in simple words I have to wait for 8 more days then. I didn’t get notification I thought u will never reply 😅 but watching your video again for clarification thank
suppose my wife here in canada and our marriage become in canada so how we can change the indian address on passport my wife adhar card or my adhar card

Ur visa in ur old passport is still valid. U will have to carry both passports while travelling. Read FAQ on bls website

if you are in Canada, they don't do Indian police verification
can I renew my passport if I the validity is more then 1 year ? cause I'm trying to do it but its not taking
It will only accept the application if your passport is expiring within 1 year
Not sure, but you can maybe renew it by asking to change address or some other detail
