I have a mellow, which is a few years old. The battery is also removable and I haven't had any issues. Always take the battery onboard :-)
Mellow is a great product but they had issues with the battery falling out. I get way better performance with Wave VS Mellow.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I had the battery falling out issue and had it swapped over, not happened since. If I get time I might open one of the packs and put the vtc6 cells in it
It's great that this Exway Wave uses a 6ah battery, just like the Exway Flex model - only swappable.

Thanks man, the trip was cool. From the previous fall I broke the right shoulder ligaments. It will take another 1 month at least to heal. People, wear protective gear at all time. Recovery is painful....Wave is an awesome little board. Perfect for traveling or up to 10 miles commutes.
Did the board come with the headlights or did you have to buy them ?

4:38 I think that the prototype had ESC in the baseplate of the rear truck. Did they ended up changing it? I know that it received some negative feedback.
I have to follow up and double check.

I thought the esc was in the truck base? You said it's in the battery.
I haven't opened but there is no room in the baseplate. I think it is in the battery. I have to open and take a look.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I just confirmed on the Exway website. It's integrated in the base of the truck.

Whats the max Wattage for a battery to be carry on an airplane? You mentioned 120-140 W for international flights so that would be almost 4Ah battery on a 10s board right?
I think the exway pack is 208wh but the reason of the video is that no one even asked me about the battery or the eboard.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace well yeah with that inconspicuous board I can understand no one would care. But try flying abroad with a Baja board or something comparable to that size that may catch their sights!

@@witachapinamk1507 the battery was discharged during travel and removed from the board. No one even asked me about the board or the battery. If that would of been an issues I would leave it at the airport.
