every time i listen to cope it makes my day. in my opinion music is amazing when you hear it for the first time and you cant get enough of it thats when you know the song is a classic not like the repetitive music they play on the radio that you hate and then little by little you end up liking media washes up everyones head with the crappy music they play now in days anyways thank you God for having people like cope in the world.

This song helps me forget about all the corrupt people with hate in their hearts. Listening to this song makes me want to go out and find Clarence and listen to him live for hours. i feel so proud of Clarence Greenwood. My mom bought his cd (containing only 3 songs) over like 10 years ago when he opened for a concert band. I grew up listening to that cd over and over loving Sideways, Contact, and Drummers Gonna Kick. we were so happy to learn he had more songs when we checked online years ago. and ecstatic to find some songs on tv!! I wish he knew we existed... I'm almost 19 and i listened to him when i was in elementary school

Straight up one of the best music vids I've ever seen. It really captures the connection between CG and the audience. Such a great representation of the everyday life we all experience. It's the symbolism of the people enduring the elements (albeit nothing harsh or life altering) just as the performer does and the message that we are all there to experience a singular, communal moment. The audience clearly appreciates and reveres Clarence and he seems to return the favor.
