Salvajemente brutal dualidad sonora Lee Morgan versus Clifford Jordan, una trompeta y un saxo tenor desmelenados, sin medida ni listón, en plena creatividad vesánicamente positiva
Lee was on fire on this outstanding LP with Morgan in rare form. I remember meeting Clifford Jordan wife on New York City 2016 she said Lee and he husband were like brothers on and off the bandstand. Lee Lives 2022 !!!!
Love this tune and finding this was a real treasure. The quality is not great and the recording seems set at the wrong speed. Everyone is way sharp... Would be great of someone could rectify these small technical issues. ❤
Yes Brother Adams when I first heard this rare LP live in Baltimore MD in 1968, The Left Bank Jazz Society, from what there more of these reel to reel recordings.

Fantastic.
That lick on 14:15 though!!!❤
Lee Morgan totally blew through the drum break lol Ed Blackwell was setting up to take off 😆
Lee is so far into this music I wonder if he has a sense of where he's at. He's not in the pocket he's in the kitty. And killin' it.
Lee’s was growing deeper..like Miles at the plugged nickel recordings..it became like true conversations.
Oh yeah he does - at all times 🎺⚡️⚡️⚡️

I like the way Cliff waited for Lee to finish his speech, same for Reggie, Ed's like whatever....
Solar Power Baby! Two Late Great Cats, Yeah!

Nepenthean58 probably reel to reel recorded and not kept in a cool environment.
