CROWN is the perfect example of kpop stans complaining about wanting something different, getting it, and then ignoring it.
Everyone was complaining about the loud and dark era and yeah Crown is a dark song but it's done right. The lyrics will depress you while the song brings you joy. 3 members were minors and no one was sexualized. The song is extremely age appropriate and txt continues that theme all the way up to Blue Hour when we got crop tops and they still managed to present this in a very cute manner. It starts their lore off in a easy and digestible manner. Its magic and fantasy and there is so much to work with here. I love txt's lore. It's a bop. Same with Cat and Dog.

This is exactly what I thought! The crazier thing is I saw a kpop opinion vid talking about how TXT needs to stop with the emo concept and it had me laughing to death. Like, that concept was for one album and repackage? They literally change concepts all the time, and people are still out here complaining.

It's actually one of my favourites in whole of kpop. So interesting, so unique, so experimental and just sounds so amazing. Plus I love how the concept, sound, lyrics and mv tie together and amplify the whole experience. Just art.They really went beyond with this one imo..although I do understand why some people won't like it

Dynamite was honestly good, it just didn't age well because of how overplayed it is and the amount of times I heard it being performed, but I would listen to it once in a while if I feel like it.
right the first month or 2 i thought it was super catchy and soty, now after a year and some change it's still catchy, i bop my head to it sometimes on the radio, but i don't listen ot it outside of hearing it on the radio anymore because i've heard it so much i need a break lol
Dynamite crown and moon are my pre exam ritual songs lol. I like listening to these three songs before i attempt any exam. I'm superstitious about it 😅😅😂

I never enjoyed it much tbh. One of my most hated songs by a korean Artists.
My only issue with it is that it got overplayed but after the grammys I feel like it wasn't getting as played as much. If you take a break from hearing it and listen to it for the first time after a while, it's catchy.

It’s a really refreshing song for me, it doesn’t sound like any of your typical kpop songs at all. It’s hard to be sad when listening to this because I just wanna dance and smile with Joy!!

You’re totally not alone loving “Bon Bon chocolat” I also think it’s one of the best K-pop songs. It’s sounds súper comercial, but the lyrics are deep, the song’s structure is refreshing. I though this song would be another plástic radio-friendly song, but it wasn’t. The voices, and the beautiful lyrics made this song one of the best.

About Sticker, when I first listened to it, I had the same reaction as whenever I listen to every NCT comeback. I probably whispered to myself *what the f*ck* and closed UA-cam. However, I do not know how it happened nor when but I am currently loving the song and it’s scaring me. Everything about the song sounds terrible, addictive, between a masterpiece and a mistake. So I am asking myself : Is my music taste astronomically good or painfully bad ?
Dude sticker is actually good people were pretty annoyed at the flute (so was i) but becuz of that they made a image of that song not being good but actually the vocals, rap , lyrics , instrumentals , visuals everything was on point.
I would not welcome other opinions .

I love Side effects. I've been into kpop since 2015/16 and at some point I was just not really interested on the new comebacks and all that, but then I heard side effects. I remember that I found it so refreshing and crazy good. I didn't really know well this type of music or stray kids so it sounded really different to me and I loved it
After I read the lyrics my love for this song just grew a lot. I'm a stay today because of this noisy music ;)

I find Hikaru's rap part kinda cringy and generic, but besides that for me this song is a BOP! Listening to it is so fun, dancing even more enjoyable (I honestly don't see how the "O" part is awkward, although admittedly it is rather unusual).

Hikaru's part actually is one of my favorite.. the song slows down amidst the fast beats and vocals. Her deep voice with a slow pace was everything to me . But I have parts I don't like , so I can see why people aren't the biggest fans of some part.

TXTs debut is still on my playlist, and Wadada is also an ear worm I can’t get enough of. Funny enough, they’re both 4th gen debuts that are absolutely elevated to another level when you watch the dance practices, like, holy shit do they know how to perform.

i'll never stop praising "side effects" as one of the best kpop songs ever created and here's why :
first of all, it's WEIRD. it's different. the sound of it is very unusual for kpop and makes you cringe at first. i understand why so many people are put off by it, bc it isn't smooth or pleasant to listen to.
secondly, you have to pay more attention to the meaning and lyrics, and realize what makes this "noise" so interesting : text painting. the lyrics are about feeling uneasy and anxious, the chorus literally says "my head hurts", which is EXACTLY the type of feelings that this music gives you. it gives you a headache... that's exactly the point.
last but not least, the choreography. again, quite different from the usual kpop choreo (which i also love btw). this dance is text painting on the same level as the instrumental : choppy and frantic movements, arms flailing like they're escaping something, grabbing their head as if it hurts, running from one place to another... it's brutal and sophisticated at the same time.
i applaud stray kids and genuinely admire them for creating something so unique, thinking of such complex ideas and pulling it off without fearing the backlash that their "experiment" might get. they're so young but already wise musicians and lyricists. and that my friends, is true artistry.

The best part of TXT is that the songs grew up as they did. In their debut, they were so young. So, Crown was perfect for them. People think that "happy" concept is easy, but it isnt. Its easier to do more serious style. I remember when I watched I-Land, that no one wanted to do a more cute concept, they were so embarrassed, that they couldn't pull it off, but Sunoo did an amazing job.
I really love Lovesick Girls, I think it’s my fav BP song too, or up there. It sounds nostalgic, like the blackpink songs that made me a fan of them in the first place

Yeah I think they’re just criticized for being over played or overrated when they are often really repetitive or empty lyric wise. Not something bad as long as you enjoy the song, but I think it makes people want to bash the songs when they literally just repeat the chorus the whole time and still get so popular.

Tbh most of these songs aren't even that hated and is still liked by around 95% of ppl. The haters just always find a way to make their voices louder than the ppl who are just tryna have a good time and listen to music.

I seriously don't understand how someone would hate ON! It's has such a deep meaning and the choreography,the outfits and even what it symbolises is amazing. I guess music taste is indeed questionable sometimes

@@laylaylopezz mvsk is kindaaa generic like I swear I've heard it in a wjsn/izone/dreamcatcher bside. HOWEVER, it has that kinda whimsical, mysterious and flirty vibe that fits kep1er really well. If it wasn't for their amazing performances for that song it would probably fogotten in my playlist but they just owned that and made it work

Dynamite is so good, the only problem was that it was overplayed. Even the boys sometimes looked sick of performing it after a while.
And HYLT was amazing - it didn't leave my playlist for a year. For an opener to the album, it did its job. And I liked Ice Cream and Lovesick Girls as well.
