I went to parties quite few times and when I'd get to know new people, somewhen the question of "what music do u listen to?" comes up. Their toxic reactions have gotten me so far that I try to use as many other genres I'm listening too as well and mentioning kpop in the midst of it really shortly. But often times, even if I did that, they'd completely ignore the rest I said. Like I even mention metal/black metal and all they focus on is: "kpop??? those gay men? They all wear makeup and they all look the same" yk, typical xenophobia/racism and a bit of homophobia as well. I'd of course always defend kpop and call out that person for that dumb behaviour but it has gotten so annoying to me that I was always like the only one who was against those generalisations and racism that I simply now try to avoid mentioning or revealing myself as a kpop stan.
I was scared to Stan Loona cuz of how many members they had too. But now I do, and I wish I did it sooner. I highly suggest stanning them. Like I know some people get annoyed when fandoms are pushy about stanning their group, but I personally like people to motivate me into stanning groups. I only got into Loona in the first place cuz so many people talked about them. Honestly the more members the better. Like literally they are all so amazing it's hard to even pick a bias. You should really Stan them. (They should have won Queendom)

- I thought that BlackPink and BTS were the only kpop groups
- After realizing that there are more groups I thought that YG owned all the gg and BigHit owned all the bg
- I thought IU was a redvelvet member
- I also imagined myself as a BlackPink member
- I used to dislike the members who were more popular than my bias but feel basic if my bias was the most popular member
- I thought naevis was Aespa's fandom name
- I don't like most of the comebacks for some reason
- I till this day get confused between group members when I see a new group

At the part when you metioned about being a kpop fan and not telling others i was like screaming SAME...let me tell you a story. So basically one day i was just Outside yea no more info about that lol so an army(she was a stranger) came to me and said hello What's your name.. after i told my name so we started talking and ofcourse i didn't said i'm a kpop stan or not, so after that she randomly said "do you know bts?" And yea i have to say something so i said yea and started talking about our biases and fav song. BUT ngl she was just an army tho. Or else as an introvert i don't really talk to people outside and yea i don't meet any "kpop stans" and not even army or blinks.
Most of armys/blinks from last 2 years are cringe af and i hate it the most whenever they ask me this wues ' do you know bts ?' i say no and stop talkinh

I went to parties quite few times and when I'd get to know new people, somewhen the question of "what music do u listen to?" comes up.
Their toxic reactions have gotten me so far that I try to use as many other genres I'm listening too as well and mentioning kpop in the midst of it really shortly. But often times, even if I did that, they'd completely ignore the rest I said. Like I even mention metal/black metal and all they focus on is: "kpop??? those gay men? They all wear makeup and they all look the same" yk, typical xenophobia/racism and a bit of homophobia as well. I'd of course always defend kpop and call out that person for that dumb behaviour but it has gotten so annoying to me that I was always like the only one who was against those generalisations and racism that I simply now try to avoid mentioning or revealing myself as a kpop stan.

I was scared to Stan Loona cuz of how many members they had too. But now I do, and I wish I did it sooner. I highly suggest stanning them. Like I know some people get annoyed when fandoms are pushy about stanning their group, but I personally like people to motivate me into stanning groups. I only got into Loona in the first place cuz so many people talked about them. Honestly the more members the better. Like literally they are all so amazing it's hard to even pick a bias. You should really Stan them. (They should have won Queendom)

I used to think SNSD and girl generation were a different group plus I thought girl generation and Apink were j-pop cuz I was on my J-pop only phase so everything that was a girl group seemed asian and danced was japanese + i never knew korean so I thought they're japanese was probably from a diferent place.
Fun fact: Idk if it was at mama or MMA TXT actually got 2 dressing rooms because even the staff thought that TXT and Tomorrow x Together were different names so tehy were really confused when Tomorrow x together started to enter TXT room and even warned them just later on the members and staff explained they were actually only one group LOL
